“Romantic weekend!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2010

My girlfriend and I just returned from our weekend in Provincetown. We stayed at Aerie House November 5th and 6th, 2010... for the very first time and we LOVED it! We reserved Room 7 in the main house. It is on the first floor. As you enter the room you have a huge bed, lovely furnishings, a gas fireplace and a flat screen tv with DVD player. There was a comfortable couch as well. There is also a full kitchen and we made dinner our first night and stayed in by the fire. Also, this is the only room on the first floor and you have your own entrance into the inn. The location is prime! Bradford street close to the east end but very close to the center of town as well. The Inn provides free bicycles to use while you stay which was a nice touch. They also have a very large hot tub with a great view of the ocean. They offer a wonderful continental breakfast that was HUGE! Homemade muffins, wonderful quiche, fresh fruits, a selection of bagels, breads and english muffins as well. They had figs, yogurt, bacon, sausage...several different types of juice and delicious coffee. We were shocked and thrilled at the same time! The only downside was the heat...it was super hot not only in our room but in the main areas as well. Probably due to the gas fireplaces located throughout but it was a little too much. We had to open a window to sleep at night. The inn offers one parking spot per room which was great!! we didn't need our car once we parked because you could walk to everything in PT. We were also greeted by the owners two lovely black labrador retrievers who gave us a great welcome of tails wagging and a kiss. Check in and check out where a breeze. The owners were delightfully friendly. They could answer any question or offer a suggestion on dinner reservations in split second timing. They also had a large selection of DVD's you could watch in your room. They also had little candy dishes everywhere filled with lots of goodies. We can't wait to make another reservation at Aerie House!

Great place, amazing location, very well kept. Room was small but nice, breakfast was delicious, but just not any place to seat and enjoy eat for the number of guests in house (no tables). Hosts were very polite - but made sure that after 11am the room needed to be vacant and bicycles (nice treat) needed to be returned no later than that. Small details, but in general a welcoming place!

We thank the reviewer for his kind comments. We do want to clarify that we do stick to our 11:00am Guesthouse check-out to ensure that our housekeeping staff has ample time to turn over our accommodations in time for our arrivals which begin at 2:00pm. We pride ourselves on having our accommodations ready for guests when they arrive. If guests would like to extend their stay in Provincetown on the day of their departure (and who could blame them!) we do provide space where they can store their luggage. We look forward to being able to welcome Mr. Ceni back to Provincetown on his next visit.

My sister & I spent 3 nights here for some R&R after a hectic summer. Fantastic, delicious breakfasts!! Clean, cozy, quiet & charming inn. Tasteful, thoughtfully furnished common areas & private rooms. Knowledgeable, professional & polite staff interested in their guests. Great views from both the deck & the hot tub. Free parking & free use of bikes. And so much more...in-room refrigerator w/ champagne, private beach, extensive, varied book & DVD "library", restaurant ratings system, endless water bottles, juice, and candy, Great place, great people and great value. I'll be back!

A must for anyone who is looking to get away... And The Mew's is just a hop away. You are almost carried away by the balcony view. Definitely looking forward to go back again in the near future or later on.

Aerie house is a wonderful B&B with a ton of extra amenties. House is beautiful and rooms are tastefully decorated. Breakfast is fantastic! We took advantage of the free bikes daily to ride to the beach. Also, free clean beach towels and water bottles were a big plus. Dave & Steve were welcoming and kind. We will definitely be back!!!

My partner and I stayed here just last week and enjoyed ourselves very much. This place is kept very clean and the owners are some of the nicest people that you will meet. Their dogs are so cute and just attention! When we would come in from dinner we would be greeted by one of the dogs and as soon as he got a good night pat on the head he would head off to bed. There are so many things to do in the area and they will help you with suggestions. When go back to Ptown we already know where we are staying! Thank you so much Steve & Dave for allowing us to stay in your home!

We stayed at the Beach Club apartments which are right on the beach and have balconies overlooking the water. The apartments are equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, two TV's and two DVD players. King sized bed in the bedroom and pull out sofa in the living room. Amazing views from the balcony of the harbor and water. We loved sitting out there on the Adirondack chairs to read and watch the water and beach. The apartment was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The top floor apt has a slanted ceiling in the bedroom that you can hit your head on if you're tall.

Breakfasts were amazing and offered in the main house about 2 blocks away. Usually some combination of eggs (quiche, cheese omelettes), sausage or bacon, delicious roasted tomatoes, fruit salad, and something freshly baked (amazing blueberry muffins, banana bread, etc.) Also, coffee, juices, bagels, cereal, yogurt, etc. They have bikes that you can borrow with helmets and locks. They also have a jacuzzi at the main house that we didn't use this time, but have in years past. The owners, Steve and Dave, are nice and accommodating with good information. They have an extensive DVD collection that you can borrow from.

The main house and apartments are on the East End of Ptown which is a little bit away from the crowds and bars and restaurants (but still within walking distance). There are mostly galleries at that end which is nice because it's quiet at night. Overall, wonderful place. We've been there 5 times and plan to come back again.
