I admit; I am a Fanizzi's grouped/devotee. I will dine 2-3 times during my 10 day stay and that includes visiting for their Bear Brunch and Friday night Fish Fry.

Folks, the drinks are satisfying, the food delicious and prepared at your request, the wait staff always polite and knowledgeable, and the views, well the views are spectacular ( catch seating on the water at sunset ).

Well worth the walk and at times the wait for a superb meal. For you newbies to Provincetown, don't let the walk to the East End discourage you or the touristy gossip----- people try to keep the wait time down :-)

Here again, I recommend every year, go and enjoy Fanizzi's.

this is one of those restaurants that get a second meal on a vacation. you can make it a "burger meal" or a 4 course meal. everything we tried was very good. the mediterranean plate and cod special were excellent. we were all eating from eachother's plates.

You know those restaurants that are great at first but then go down hill when you go back? Well, Fanizzi's is not one of those! We start our vacation off every year with dinner and it has been nothing but fabulous year after year. The broiled scallops are to die for along with the wild rice served with them. Even the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend it!

Our family stumbled across Fanizzi's by happenstance, during a one-night stay at the Surfside Hotel on a very brief whale-watching visit to Provincetown. Since that time we have returned to the hotel and restaurant for three vacations (we fell in love with both) and on the last visit ate lunch and dinner exclusively at Fanizzi's over a several day stay. The staff are unparalleled, service is fantastic, and the food is exceptional (there are gluten free options available, about which the staff are well-informed, which was very much appreciated). We sampled a wide variety of items from the menu, all of which were wonderful. The best clam chowder in town! Can't wait to go back!
Our only complaint about this place is that they won't deliver 1000km away, and we miss the food when we're back home!

After a high-speed 45-minute ferry ride from Boston we arrived in Provincetown.
A little outside of downtown, but worth the few extra minutes it takes to get to Fanizzi's.
On the water, looking out on the Bay we enjoyed a great lunch.
The chowda was rich and full of vegetables and clams. Sandwiches and burgers were better than expected and service was very accommodating and timely.
Look forward to a return visit next time at the Cape.
