A great first stop to familiarize you with history of P'town. Has information about flora and fauna on the Cape. Great view from upper deck as it is on top of a hill.

This is a great destination reached by bike on many of the numerous trails. The facility sits high above, overlooking the trees and all the way down to the beach. It has a nice, informative center with friendly staff.

This Visitor Center is one of the best we've been to because of the building and views, because of the National Parks Service that mans it, and because of the history displayed in the center. The videos are brief and full of information. We went to Race Point Beach only to look at it because we were short on time. The Park Ranger allowed us to go take a quick look without paying the parking fee, since we weren't staying. Beautiful beach, lots of room, stunning setting.

This is the place to sign up for beach fire permit. Each beach has 3 permit. First come first serve. Once you sign up, you must be back between 3pm - 5pm to pick up the paper permit.

The rangers are very friendly and knowledgable. They made the best recommendation for wildlife sighting, places to visits in various weather condition, direction of sunrise & sunset, and where to find local seafood joint. They have maps catering to cyclist and pedestrians. It made our visit a memorable one!

Just a wonderful place to visit to get a real idea of what the cape looks like and how really big and beaufiful it is. Plenty of parking and lots to do once your inside.
