The trip advisor reviews were spot on. The food is excellent and it has a good, and reasonably priced, wine list. I think the Pork Vindaloo is the first time I have actually had a curry in the US which was genuinely spicy (though not British vindaloo hot). The shaking beef was also excellent. View is great (try and get a window table if you can). Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Luckily we have 10 days to go on our vacation and I'd be surprised if we were not back there at least once!

We recently dined here and had a wonderful dinner. Two couples shared several appetizers and enjoyed their own main meals. We were fortunate to have fried squash flowers in season. They were stuffed with a goat cheese mixture and lightly fried then placed on a light tomato sauce with shaved parmesan. The ceviche was served as fillets of fish (not chopped as I am used to) and it was somewhat chewy. However the lobster risotto was creamy and prepared perfectly. AND...don't miss the views of the harbor.....very memorable.

We sat at the bar, the two bartenders were very nice when you could get their attention. They were VERY in the weeds... They spent most of the night making drinks for the waitstaff and didn't have much time for the bar customers - they seemed quite frazzled! That being said, the food was fabulous! We started with Caesar salad and heirloom tomato/mozzarella/pesto salad. We then had fried asparagus (even though we ordered the squash blossoms) and the wild boar naan pizza.

So... a few complaints even though the food was really great and the bartenders sweet- we got the salads very quickly. Then we seemed to be waiting forever for the other apps... About 10 minutes after we finished the salads, the bartender said "I just put in your other apps"... She was so in the weeds, she was frazzled... Not a big deal since we weren't in a rush. Earlier we had a conversation with the bartender - asparagus or squash blossoms - she picked the squash blossoms, so that is what we ordered...out came the asparagus. We had waited so long for the food, we didn't say anything. They were yummy - but there were only 3... $10 for 3 asparagus seems pricey...

Don't think we would go back. Very loud, expensive and service just okay... We spent over $100 for 2 salads, 2 apps and 2 beers.... hence the 3 rating.

We just finished a memorable meal at the Mews in Provincetown, MA. We were seated at a table overlooking the water which was enhanced during the meal by a spectacular thunderstorm followed by a rainbow. Our appetizer, prosciutto and figs, was fantastic, as were all our entrees (rockfish, tuna, cod, and steak). The service was outstanding as well. This restaurant, on the quiet end of Commercial Street, is a real find.

We saved our trip to The Mews for our last night in Ptown. Sometimes you are disappointed, the review hype exceeds the experience, but certainly not so here. We had preselected a couple of dishes, but after hearing the special options, menu selection was even more difficult. My husband stuck with the crusted cod, but I opted for the striped bass with a Portuguese sauce. Both were delicious. As mentioned elsewhere, the vodka list is crazy long, but for those of us who like our alcohol on the pretty and sweet side, the pomegranate martini was just right. Service was energetic and authoritative. Would highly recommend. Make a reservation, already pretty full when we arrived at 7:15 for our 7:30 reservation on a summer evening.
