We stop into the lobster pot every summer while we're up in P-Town. This year was no let down. The good was great and very fresh. The server was very friendly and the service was quick. We definitely will be back again. My tip is that if you can get there a little early, do it!! It does get busy quickly and try to request to sit upstairs, you'll get a better view of the water and the pier!

Thank Josh S

“A bit slow, but the food was incredible”
Reviewed July 31, 2014

Arrived at the restaurant at 2:00 and were told we would have a 15 minute wait. Since that seemed reasonable for its location and the lines at all the other places we went for it. The wait was more over 20 minutes. The menu was a bit on the pricey side when trying to feed lunch to 3 teenage sons, but there were reasonable options that everyone could try. Service didn't seem to slow and our waiter was excellent. The food was fantastic! I had the mussels marseilles style. It made me feel like I had never actually eaten mussels before. I savored every bite. The rest of the family really like their meals and were totally filled up. Beautiful view out dining room of the harbor. We were completely happy with our choice. The only drawback was that it was 4:00 by the time we came out and had to meet the rest of our family who had spent an hour shopping and exploring after they had finished their meals at nearby restaurants.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed July 31, 2014

Recommended by our host at the bed and breakfast. It was extremely busy, but we were seated and served quickly. Our server was friendly. Lobster and crab house salad, was very fresh, but mixed with too much mayo. My husband had the blackened chicken sandwich. Both were perfectly edible but if you want something a little more romantic and up market this is not the place. Ideal for lunch with a view. The spiced pumpkin bread and the seeded flat bread were good. The beer Cape Cod beer was good, but not cold enough for our liking. Worth a visit just for the hustle and bustle.

“Family Friendly With Decent Food”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

I found Lobster Pot on TripAdvisor, and I was at first a tad reluctant of a potential tourist trap. Nonetheless, we stopped in because it had a great location on the main pedestrian drag Commercial Street. The staff was extremely willing to accommodate us with two children, and we were seated with no difficulty. The clam chowder bread bowl was delicious though I would say there is likely better clam chowder on the Cape. All in all I feel it was worth the stop.
