Pleasant boat ride out to see the whales. Real interesting seeing them rise out of the water. Real amazement at God's creation. Snacks on board, so a real relaxing trip.

It was a great boat ride. We got to see some amazing whales. Good for kids and adults alike. Wish more whales had come out!

“Clean ship and whale sightings”
Reviewed August 12, 2014

Ship got up close to whales. Whales arched backs and extended tails above surface.

Naturalist on board was terrific and explained many details.

“Whale of a Good Time”
Reviewed August 10, 2014 via mobile

We selected this tour company based on recommendation from where we were staying. They are smaller than the other one but were just wonderful. The guide educated us on whales and local history of Provincetown. We saw many whales but the captain wanted us to find the humpbacks in the area and he did! They were just beautiful, it was a mother and calf and we end our trip seeing mom complete a deep dive so we saw her iconic tail! Great staff.

“Educational, breathtaking experience for individuals, couples and families”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

This afternoon my wife and I traveled to Provincetown to experience a whale watch. Although we had seen a number of humpback whales from Race Point beach we were eager to see these beautiful mammals 'close-up.' We were not disappointed!! We decided to use Provincetown Whale Watch, given its positive ratings.

Leaving Provincetown (with approximately 80 others) on an immaculate boat we were welcomed aboard by Tiffany, their very well-spoken marine biologist. In addition to orienting us to the boat she shared details about Baleen and Tooth whales and the multi-stage feeding process supported by Stellwagen Bank (our ultimate destination).

Early in our journey we saw a Finback whale. Upon reaching Stellwagen Bank we observed at short distance (over the next hour or so) a feeding Humpback whale. Throughout the trip the marine biologist provided background informaton on whale movements, feeding processes, breeding and migration practices and their unique markings (enabling spotters to name each whale). In addition to learning much about these great mammals we also enjoyed a beautiful day on the ocean.

If you are looking for an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day on the ocean, learn about whales (from an extremely knowledgeable crew) and see them up close I recommend without hesitation Provincetown Whale Watch.
