Went to the new Ptown Café (next door to beautiful Town Hall to the West) for lunch with a friend. SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I did! I had the most deliciously prepared Chicken Salad Sandwich on my choice bread (which was a HUGE and buttery croissant), which was stunning! The owner of the Café was quick to attend to me and catered to my (peculiar) special tastes. The coffee is stunningly delicious as are the (what I call) grab and go selections. When I was there, the owner was meeting with vendors, hashing out details for new products or to refine her current selections. I can easily understand why everything is so precise and delicious there.... because she won't allow anything less! Good luck to Ptown Café with this new venture, I"ll be back!!!

The herbed, roasted pork loin sandwich on baguette with a rosemary aioli is tasty, as is the Black Forest ham with asiago cheese and a Dijonaise dressing on a fresh croissant. The chocolate chip brownie is a favorite from the bakery case, along with fresh canoli. There are lots of fresh baked goods, and the coffee is a nice, rich blend. I'll report more when I taste more. They've only been in business a couple of weeks, but they're off to a good start. Order at the counter and eat indoors or out for a little people-watching on busy Commercial Street, or take your order to go.. Most things are made here, from scratch. The address above is wrong. It's 258 Commercial Street, right next to Town Hall.
