“Good Food but pricey for this type of dining”

This is Devon's newest venture up on Bradford Street ... our service and food was quite
good, but somewhat pricey considering the ambiance of the establishment (more like a diner than a fine dining restaurant) ... the menu has two sections to it (standards created the 'old' way or standards created the 'new' way ... we started with the Lobster Bisque (the old way, served hot) ... very tasty ... for entrees one of us had the Lobster Roll (the old way), and other tried the Seared Scallops (the new way) ... both portions were ample and well prepared ... of the several restaurants we dined at while on vacation in Ptown, this was our least favorite.

“Pricey for quaintness”

While the food is well prepared this little sea decorated hut is deceptively overpriced. A $30 entree- well throw in a green salad. Or a few olives. It is an example of summer greed.

“Bait and Switch”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

Two of us were in for dinner and saw that the mains on the menu ranged from the low to high $20's....so when we ordered the halibut special we expected it to be in that same general range - maybe a buck or two higher. Nope. We got the check - $74.00 for the two plates of halibut. REALLY? When I asked the host if that was right - I got a brusque "yes, that's correct". I don't know about you - but I HATE being hustled....and that's exactly what this was....a good old fashioned hustle. Not gonna happen again.

Best meal of many good ones in Ptown. Excellent service. Fish Stew was to die for. Desserts equally creative. Must eat there if you can.
