In Provincetown, Ma walk along downtown and stroll into Whaler's Wharf off road shops. Go toward the back and go upstairs to Ross' Grille, recommend reservations if dining after 5:30 p.m. Start with Ross' red sangria and walk to the back of restaurant and go outside on the deck and relax. What a view of the beach and marina. If you think of it ask for a table facing the water, what a view while you eat. The grilled salmon was excellent to say the least. Open all year round except for a short shut down from Feb-April 1st. This is a find to say the least, If you save room try the Creme' Brulee and a coffee. ENJOY!

We were searching for a change of pace restaurant that didn't start with the word "Lobster" and learned about Ross's. We had an early dinner and loved the ambiance of the restaurant with its vista over the water and the late afternoon light. The food was great. Two of us had the "steak frites" which was outstanding; one of us had soup and a salad and the other a seafood soup that was first rate. The wait service was exceptional (Jeff). Ross's definitely goes on our permanent roster.

Food, raw bar and wine list are excellent. I'm a big fan of the Chicken Liver Pate appetizer. Extensive list of wines by the glass. Overall excellent choice in Provincetown if you can stand the noise level. Poor acoustics make it difficult to hold a conversation. That's the only negative. Service is a bit harried but still fast and friendly.

Just happened to be here in April opening up the house for our anniversary weekend. Didnt give much thought to it and wandered down to Ross's to make a booking in the early evening for our Anniversary that night. I mean, its April! Fully booked out! Wow! But upon hearing it was our Anniversary, Cesar squeezed a spot in for us at the bar and entertained us for the night. He has recently bought the place and we wish him the best of luck, but he has a following and Im sure he will do great! I had Lamb Chops - Splendid! What I really liked is that no matter who you are at the bar, single, couple, straight or gay, Cesar gives everyone equal attention and conversation. He makes everyone fee special. It was a great night and he does a good job getting everyone involved in the conversation when appropriate, or letting you have a private one on one when that's appropriate. Good luck Cesar!!!

I had a nice halibut with curry and my dinner companion had a nice double thick pork chop. Very good food, atmosphere, and view. If reserving online make sure you also call to specify you want a table, or you might end up at the bar....even with a reservation!

Recommended. Large selection of nice wines.
