“Good spot for lunch in P-Town”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

This is a comfy bar with about a dozen tables and a good selection of lunch items. There is a small wine list featuring about 6 selections each of reds and whites. The price is the same for all wines on the list - $9/glass or $36/bottle.

Fresh Welfleet oysters come in orders of 6 with either cocktail sauce or wasabi, ginger and soy sauce. At $10 and $11 per order they were less expensive than we usually find and they were cold, fresh and delicious. The soup special, a spicy vegan lentil stew priced at $7, was excellent and filling. The only disappointment was the calimari which tasted like it came out of the freezer and was overcooked, hard and dry. It was accompanied by an uninspired chunky salsa.

Service was friendly and fast but we were not rushed.

Great location on Commercial St. in the center of town.

“Excellent Tuscan Fries”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

I'll be honest: I was inspired to write this review because I love their tuscan fries. If you go here, and you like fries, then you have to try them. They also have some micro beers which was cool. Sometimes, it can get really crowded and it is a small space but in addition to the tables you can eat at the bar or take your food to go.

“Fun place, fun people”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

As a suggestion of the innkeepers where we were staying, we stopped in for a beer while roaming the streets of P'Town. Very friendly bartender who mentioned that they would be showing the World Series at night on their TV and projection screen. We went back during the evening to watch the game. Great service and a fun, eclectic group of people. Met a congressman and his wife from North Dakota and a couple from Calgary Canada, as well as a population of both straight and gay customers. We did not have any food although everyone said the food was ery good. A very fun and casual stopover!

“Good Food and Brew”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

Lunch at The Squealing Pig in P'town was a treat! We stepped in among a throng of locals and ordered a dozen Wellfleet Oysters and a seafood platter to share. The oysters were fresh and the seafood platter was plentiful! I also tried some local beer and enjoyed it immensely!

The service was quick and friendly. The fried seafood was top quality and the portion was large enough for two. Don't be afraid to share one between two people...especially at lunch. Quite satisfying. Prices were comparable to other restaurants in P'town and the value was exceptional.
