There are so many places to eat on the commerical street, big and small. We found that the Mayflower cafe is family friendly, and serve the foods with reasonal time after you make the order. The price is not too high, we like the clam chowder and pizza. Most of the staff are friendly and attentative.

I ate here while I was on a tour of the area. The service was exceptional and the food was very good. The price of the meals was very reasonable.

A tour guide recommended this to us. We were tired and hungry and had kids. The service was good and fast. Good choices in usual family fare and fish and lobster. It was casual and booths were good for groups. Situated right in the middle of Ptown on the main street across from the pier.

We began our week-long stay in Provincetown with a disappointing meal at another restaurant a couple blocks over from The Mayflower before checking Trip Advisor. We decided to give The Mayflower a try after reading the reviews and could not have been more pleased!! We loved it so much we ate here 3 more times during the week! Great service, great food, reasonably priced! The market price for the lobster was $16.99 compared with $25-$35 everywhere else on the Cape, and it was the most delicious I have ever tasted!! I am not a big fan of clam chowder; but we were a party of 10 people, and they all agreed the clam chowder was one of their top 2 in Ptown. Our group tried many of the items from the menu during our 4 trips there, and all were wonderful!
