I remember my parents bringing me here on our yearly vacations to Provincetown when I was a kid. Im now 65 years old and the restaurant hasn’t changed at all. The food is a little expensive but not as expensive as other places in town. The food is nothing spectacular just mediocre at best. You get what you pay for considering where you are. You won’t leave here thinking wow that was a great meal.

Stopped at the Mayflower for a quick lunch and were seated in front of the kitchen UGH! Prep people used bare hands to add butter pats directly to baked potato and the rest of the food was prepped similarly. Enough said.

This is a great little spot on Commercial Street. The Main Street for shops and sights in Provincetown. We were a party of (6). The service was excellent. The group ordered the following: Lasagna , Manicotti, Meatball Sub, Eggplant Sub, Buffalo wings, Kale Soup, and Chowder. All rated there food very good to excellent. Very nice dining experience, especially for a family. The tab was $102.00 including the tip.

We stopped at the Mayflower Cafe which is conveniently located on Commercial Street for lunch. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but we were impressed with the food and service. Our server was friendly and our food came out very quickly even though it was busy. We will definitely return and recommend this restaurant.

Mayflower is one of best places on the Cape for a family with kids. The prices are fair, even in a tourist-dependent like P'town. The food is good, and seafood is fresh and well prepared. They offer some interesting speciality dishes that aren't often on the mostly-seafood Cape menus, like Portuguese style fish. We'll come back.
