Great place to visit. We enjoy in off season. Less crowed and still a lot still to do. Free parking. Friendly people. Good food and lodging. Don't miss the Marine Store.

Even Thanksgiving weekend, the streets are crowded and most stores are open for business. Bargains everywhere to be had as stores are getting ready to reduce inventory and some are closing for the season. A great time of year to be in Provincetown.

The countryside & coast around are stunning but after a quick visit I'd give the town centre a miss!

My new home away from home, Ptown. I love this place! It's eclectic and exciting. There are lots of interesting people to talk to and people are friendly and kind. Most shops are open on weekends and its still a vibrant place in the off season. Amazing eateries, shopping, dancing and the beach! What else is there...oh the ART GALLERIES! Truly a gem of a place.

I have been all over Cape Cod and this was my favorite street to walk along in a downtown area. P-Town is at the end of Cape Cod but worth the drive. Commercial Street has all kinds of restaurants and shops. There are Himalayan, global, marine-oriented, t-shirts, jewelry stores, a movie theater, art studios, candy shops and more. Not all shops are open during the off season but parking is easy to get. There is street parking on this one-way street or public parking areas with a small charge. I really enjoyed strolling along the street and seeing the shops. From several places there is a nice ocean view.
