“Greenwich Village on the Water”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

Commercial Street is a must during a visit to Cape Cod. The unique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and the people are all fabulous. Stop at Cuffy's for souvenirs and/or inexpensive comfy clothes. Pick up some fudge and salt water taffy available in a large variety of flavors from one of the awesome candy stores. There are many places to choose from for enjoying a cocktail and/or a delicious meal. Chat with the friendly locals, enjoy the water views, and people watch. You can also take a whale watching tour, or tour the Pilgrim Tower. Eat, drink, shop, explore, and be merry! You will probably have to pay for parking and walk around, so wear comfortable shoes! You'll want to keep going back.

“Charming and entertaining, full of architectural gems, cute shops, restaurants and more”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

Commercial Street runs the length of Provincetown and offers great variety for long walks: elegant old homes in quiet stretches on both the far east and far western parts of the street, gorgeous water views, a wide range of shops from pricey boutiques to the Marine Specialties discount store (always fun and full of bargains) to the Provincetown Book Store, and all kinds of restaurants from funky sandwich shops to high end dining. A great place for people watching.
