Footpaths, walkways, side streets, alleyways and stairways lead to wonderful little restaurants, shops and galleries that many visitors never find. There's something for everyone on Commercial Street, but remember to look for the little gems that are often just a few steps off the beaten path. Coffee shops, stained glass, antiques, out-of-print books and dozens of little shops, as well as tasty things to eat, are waiting for you to discover them all along this little one-way, sort of "main street" of the town, and often just off of it, down a little alley or boardwalk that others will miss.

Commercial Street in Ptow is a unique street for you have art galleries, shops (from t shirts to wonderful art and jewelry) restaurants but if you start on one end of commercial street and walk the length which a few miles you will see some of the nicest gardens and planted containers and the some of them you are invited to go into,

Busy little street, could quickly become overcrowded. Lots of art galleries and great little shops and lots of restaurants.

Great spot to wander, shop, eat and people watch. Also the most dog friendly area I have ever been too! My pooch loved it!

Since there is really only 2 parallel streets you'll be on it most of the time. Lots of shops, art galleries, food etc. it's all on Commercial Street. First timers will definitely be surprised at how narrow this very old street is.
