Someone needs to do a coffee table book of the houses and gardens on Commercial Street. Today (June) the roses and perennials are out and it is flat-out gorgeous. Small, lovingly-tended gardens. Intriguing art, nature, architecture and humanity. The whole thing is an aesthete's dream, even without entering any of the many art galleries. A leisurely stroll is the way to see it. Pause and soak it in. Don't miss Suzanne's garden... If you start from the east, you can then eat in any one of the restaurants in 'downtown' Provincetown.
