I spent just a day and a half in Provincetown over memorial day weekend with my fiancé, and this tour was without a doubt the highlight. I'm not sure where to begin, even. We showed up a few minutes early and met our guide, Rob, who happens to be Art's son. He told us we'd be picking up another couple and dropping them off at a dune shack where they were staying for a few days. He asked if we'd mind making the pit stop, which we didn't, because we were excited at this bonus addition to the tour. (Visiting the dune shacks isn't normally included). After collecting the couple, Rob drove us to the dunes and talked a bit about the history of the Cape Cod National Sea Shore and the dune shacks. He's not only incredibly knowledgeable, having grown up in the area, but he's also an amazing story teller. He even showed us old photographs of places we drove by, which was so neat to see. When we arrived at the dune shack, we were invited to come inside and see the living space. We just loved getting to step inside of a place that so few people are able to experience. It was truly special. After we left the dune shack, Rob drove us down to the ocean. He stopped often to let us take pictures, which we really appreciated. Even though the tour was supposed to last just an hour, we returned almost two hours later. We felt like we really lucked out having our own private tour with such a wonderful guide. Next time, we'll definitely do the sunset tour with a clambake on the beach. It sounds amazing from what we've heard. Thanks for such a memorable day, Rob! If you're visiting P-Town, even for just a day, you'd be foolish not to take a dune tour with Art's. There's a reason it's the highest rated activity in P-Town.
