“Outstanding and immaculate Inn!”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

The Inn at Cook Street is an extraordinary B&B nestled off Commercial St. in the East End gallery district with a private beach access.
It caters to LGBT and non-LGBT visitors alike. Rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated. The owners, Lisa, Doreen, and their staff are warm and welcoming. Breakfast is prepared in the main area's kitchen daily, served at a long wooden farm table in the adjacent dining room, and consistently delicious. Try the scrambled eggs made with feta cheese (creamy goodness on a plate!). There are homemade baked goods, various coffees and teas, juices, etc. The best part of staying here are the breakfasts when the visitors gravitate to the big table in the dining room for morning coffee and stay for the breakfast & camaraderie with the other visitors.
Doreen's photography is featured in the main living room, which is warm and cozy. Lisa offers her own brand of teas and is knowledgeable about teas from all over the world.
Parking, although limited, is efficient. Information about Provincetown is provided . The bathrooms are gorgeous.
This is the ONLY place my wife and I stay when visiting Provincetown. It is comfortable, beautiful, & IMMACULATE.
Pat & Suzanne

Room Tip: All rooms are wonderful. However, if you prefer more privacy, try to get one of the cottages.

Thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful review. All of us here make a sincere effort to make sure all rooms are clean and comfortable for every guest to enjoy their vacations and hopefully concern themselves with nothing. Our breakfast table is a special feature and we love watching guests mingle each morning. There is other seating if one wanted to have quieter space also. We do hope all guests feel this way and will want to come back here to The Inn at Cook st. when returning to Ptown. Hope to see you again soon.

We love Provincetown, And This is without a doubt THE best place to stay . Me and my life partner have stayed here before. We loved it. And always look forward to staying here.
Lisa & Doreen are Wonderful. They make you feel right at home from the minute you walk in.
The rooms are Spotless. The breakfast is cooked fresh every morning. And the staff is charming. The atmosphere is charming. The gardens are wonderful and well groomed. Every room is given that home felt touch. Warm and cozy. It's a restful place. Just 3 minutes from the center of town.
I just cant say enough about this place. TRY IT. You won't be sorry.

After doing much research on the perfect place to stay, my partner and I arrived in Provincetown after a 5 1/2 hour trip from Woodstock, N.Y. We stayed on the first floor in a beautifully appointed room. Lisa was gracious and helped us with our bags as we unloaded our car. My partner did not want to be in the midst of Commercial Street, and this was, indeed, the perfect location, situated on the east end, in the quieter gallery district between Bradford and Commercial with access to a small private beach area. I had read about the addition of the "tea gallery" and liked the tea so much that we bought some for ourselves as well as for my daughter. The breakfasts were very good, homemade breads, muffins, omelets to order, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea.
The sitting area was quaint and comfortable with beautiful photographs that looked like paintings on the walls, done by Doreen.
They have a very nice collection of movies that you can choose from that you can view in your room. Parking can be difficult and some properties charge extra for parking but not The Inn at Cook Street.
Having stayed five nights, we didn't want to leave, but real life interferes sometimes.
We enjoyed our stay at Lisa and Doreen's inn and would highly recommend it.
Yes, it was "The Perfect Place to Stay."

Last year, we luckily found The Inn at Cook Street but Lisa and Doreen - the owners - made us feel like they had finally found US. Spending time with the inn-keepers (even though they're busy) is part of what WE love about the experience; and, it's always fun and interesting to hear all about the house and the owners' new ventures. Lisa is a Tea Master and she offers tastings in the living room - the new Triangle Tea Room. The teas are out of this world! Even the scones were made with tea - just lovely! The Tea Room doubles as a Gallery and houses Doreen's photography....Squeaky clean and comfy rooms are part of the experience, but we love really making their house feel like ours (even for a day or so) and it's easy to do. A made to order breakfast kicks off the day! There's tea and coffee and other snacks available all day. It's easy to stay there ... they're in the East End near the art galleries and really close to everything. It's only a short walk to whatever you're in the mood for. :)

Room Tip: All the rooms are great! Have stayed in three.

The inn was so comfortable and welcoming. The room was beautifully appointed. Lisa and Doreen made my stay wonderful, their great conversation was a great bonus. The breakfast was ample and varied with cereals, eggs, homemade muffins, with good health in mind. The inn was perfectly situated for seeing all that Ptown has to offer. I am really looking forward to going back to enjoy their new tea room. Lisa is so knowledgeable about her teas.

It seems that Spring was only days away. Thank you for your kind review and we do hope you come back soon. The Tea Room is up and active and we are delighted to share it with all our guests. Healthier choices are available although we do have some tempting baked goods each morning and throughout the afternoon. See you soon! Cheers!

If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable, relaxing stay in Provincetown, you owe it to yourself to stay at the Inn at Cook Street. This quaint B&B offers gorgeous, tastefully decorated rooms that are extremely clean and well-maintained, and a healthy breakfast with all the trimmings in the morning. The grounds are also very well-kept and manicured. Every last detail is well-thought out to make your stay very comfortable and convenient: internet access, DVDs an movies, etc. Our room even had a free-standing fire place which made it very cozy on a chilly spring night.

Innkeepers Lisa and Doreen have an extensive knowledge of what to see and do while in town and couldn't be nicer if they tried. They pretty much treated us like dear friends the entire time and gave us tips on hidden gems and places to see that would appeal to us.

The location is within walking distance to lots of galleries and shops. There is ample parking for guests. A huge plus in a town where parking can be a bit of a challenge!

Room Tip: This was our second time staying here. Both rooms we had were excellent.
