“great place with an even greater staff”
Reviewed June 28, 2014

The location could not be better. In the center of town but, far enough back from the street for no noise. The staff is great we had an early check in with a late check out - perfect. The lounge is very inviting with great food. This was out second time and the Sage Inn and will be the first place we look for reservations the next time we go to P-Town.

Room Tip: low numbers are nearest to the elevator.

For several years I've made an annual trek to P-town for a ten day visit during the Provincetown International Film Festival. Sage Inn and Lounge is my go to spot for everything I need in a vacation destination. Perfectly located only a few minutes walk to the ferry, the beach and right on the main drag, Sage provides all the amenities of a hotel, bar and restaurant - all in one place. The complimentary breakfast spread of fresh fruit, cereal and pastries along with coffee, teas and juice start off every morning in the best way. I loved the added touch of having the stylish rooms decorated with Film Festival posters and paraphernalia. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the service is exemplary. I can't give a higher recommendation to this establishment and hope you are willing to give them a try! You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Not all rooms have a fridge so if you want one, ask for it.

Green Features: Every room has trash and recycling bins and they only change linens when you ask for them.

Back for the second year and wowed again by the service, efficiency, cleanliness and overall attention to detail ... not to mention the first name greeting upon arrival and early room readiness. Also had a chance to try the lounge dining which was wonderful. Even on nights when the lounge was crowded with special events there was no noise in the rooms and the tucked away location allows quiet while still just steps away from everything Provincetown. Definitely my "go to" inn to fully enhance a stay in one of my favorite towns anywhere.

When my wife and I started scouting locations for our Cape Cod wedding we knew Sage Inn was the place for us. We had about 30 guests staying at Sage and we had an amazing, beautiful wedding ceremony in the newly renovated event space. Great location, beautiful lounge, immaculate rooms and very attentive staff.

The hospitality, professionalism and kindness of the staff is something we will never forget. General manager, Cathy Nagorski, was with us every step of the way during our year of wedding planning, and made us feel so special and taken care of. These rooms are a great price for what you get.

This hotel is smack in the middle of town on Commercial Street, yet rooms are quiet and relaxing when you want a break from the crowds.

Sage has a beautiful complementary breakfast for guests each morning and great ambiance for a relaxing cocktail at night at the lounge bar. This space was PERFCT for hosting our family and friends. People were able to experience the best of Ptown because of the central location, while having access to great community lounge space in the hotel to socialize and spend time together in the morning for breakfast or in evening for a drink. There is also a charming outdoor deck area upstairs with chairs and tables where guests can hang out and enjoy fresh air.

The staff nailed it with setting up the lounge space for our wedding ceremony. They were ahead of the game on everything and provided chairs and made sure everything was set up perfectly from our decorations to our live musician. It was truly the happiest time of my life and Sage Inn will be in my heart and memory forever. It has become our go to place to stay whenever we are in Ptown and we have never been disappointed.

We love Sage Inn!!!

Room Tip: Rooms are immaculate, but some are smaller than others, so if you need extra space ask when booking...

Originally we (my new husband and I) decided to book a short vacation at one of our favorite New England destinations (Provincetown) and we found the Sage Inn and Lounge. Sage Inn and Lounge is on Commercial Street but set back just a bit which allows you to be part on the area vibe if you want or retreat to a more quiet setting depending on your mood. The rooms are immaculate and contemporary with just the right touch of beach feel. Each room has a private bathroom which is not always an easy find in Provincetown.

Our vacation quickly turned into much more when we decided to elope. When we informed the Sage Inn and Lounge staff that we wanted to elope at the Inn we quickly learned how amazing the staff was at Sage Inn and Lounge. From the moment we arrived at Sage we were greeted with warmth and a genuine feeling that everyone at Sage wanted us to have a memorable experience. Sage staff made sure we had everything we needed from a beautiful lush, green courtyard for the wedding ceremony to sage umbrellas when the weather didn’t want to cooperate. They thought of everything.

And my review would not be complete if I didn’t mention the lounge at Sage. The tapas style food was incredible. We still talk about the lobster sliders. The cocktails were fresh and innovative. It was a great place to have a meal and a drink. We were spoiled to have the lounge steps from our room.

I cannot recommend enough the Sage Inn and Lounge to folks interested in spending time in Provincetown. We plan to visit every year. Much Love, Andrea and John

Room Tip: Parking is an extra fee as the Inn has limited spots in their private lot. Totally worth it!

We found this hidden gem on TripAdvisor and trusted what it said. We found it to be a very charming inn that does not feel like a hotel rather like staying with friends. A big thanks to Tomm for letting us in on our late arrival. Room was small but fit our needs perfectly. Because the Sage inn is not close to the street it is very quite. A great find.

We stayed 3 nights to celebrate a wedding which actually took place at the Inn. I can't say enough about how accommodating and friendly every single person was. The location of Sage is also fantastic. I will be back! Thank you to the Sage for making this past weekend amazing!
