“Gabriel's Guesthouse is our saving grace!”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

We've been staying at Gabriel's for 18 years now, and it's still our favorite home away from home! Our hosts are wonderful and make us feel special and extremely comfortable! We look forward to our delicious breakfasts, warm cookies in the afternoon, and wine and scrabble in the common room at night as we celebrate our anniversary there every year. We would be lost without our yearly respite from kids and stress, and feel blessed that we have such a gem away from home!

I think the title of my post says it all.

The rooms are very warm and welcoming. We stayed at the inn (as opposed to the condos) and the room that we stayed at exceeded our expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable (tempurpedic). The room also included a beautiful skylight, plenty of windows, light hardwood floors, a fireplace, a refrigerator, microwave, and a jacuzzi.

The outside area is also very friendly, with a fish pond, places to walk your pets, balconies, and a mini outdoor fireplace.

The staff members were also very friendly, and it was clear that they truly wanted to get to know each and every one of their guests.

The location is perfect. It is one block up from Commerce St., shopping, restaurants, and the bay. It is also a short drive from Race Point Beach and Herring Cove (great for sunsets). It is close enough to everything, but far away enough to get plenty of peace and quiet.

Breakfast REALLY impressed me. It is served from 8am-10am daily, and there is a wide variety of breakfast food and drinks (coffee/decaff coffee, orange juice, V8, english muffins, pastries, etc.), as well as food that is made to order (pancakes, waffles, eggs, etc.).

I will definitely recommend this to others and would love to stay again!

Thank you, folks at Gabriel's, for a welcoming stay!

We have stayed twice in Ariel. We love staying here. The hosts are very friendly. We love the jacuzzi and also nice shower. Great breakfast with custom dishes prepared. The gas fireplace creates a warm ambiance. Close to everything. Definitely a place worthwhile to keep coming back.

I am remiss in the timing of this review. Our daughter was married in November and a majority of family and many friends stayed at Gabriel's. we stayed in the Laurel and it was a most comfortable room. Upon arrival we were greeted by Christopher and directed to our room. The Great room was offered for a pre - wedding reception that evening and we all had a delightful time. Both mornings we were treated to a choice of fantastic breakfast selections made and served by the friendliest of folks.I feel we were all treated as family and would love to return someday. the courtyard is beautiful, location great and rooms ( I saw many) tastefully decorated and comfortable! Our thanks to the Elizabeth's, Christopher, and ALL the staff for their part in a memorable weekend!

We stayed at Gabriel's for a long weekend just for a quick getaway. Little that we knew we nicely timed our arrival in the middle of a snow/windstorm on the Cape. We were surprised and disappointed when we arrived in the afternoon that none of the walkways (leading up the front office door!) or the parking/loading spot was shoveled at all! We ended up double parking on the already very narrow, snow covered Bradford Street and carried our luggage down half a block with up to a foot of snow, in the wind, to the check-in office. That was truly a bit disturbing since the inn knows full well that they will have visitors checking in that afternoon, so even if (or especially because?) the weather is treacherous, you would think they would prepare the properly for the arriving guests.
Luckily things seem to go uphill from there ... the room was nicely appointed, the showers amazing, and of course the breakfast was just lovely. P-town was quiet in the winter for sure though we still managed to have a few good meals and a nice beach walk while we were there.

Thank you for your stay with us at The Provincetown Hotel at Gabriel's - it was a pleasure to host you. We apologize for the inconvenience. As you correctly pointed out - it was in the middle of the snowstorm, and no matter how much effort we put in the clearing the parking spot out of snow, the snowstorm plays its evil trick on us. Weather is something we wish we had control over, but we don't.
We hope to welcome you back with a clear sky over Provincetown!

When greeted at the desk I was so happy to see a smiling face. Until I was told, I wouldn't have even guessed the owners were away. The people left in charge were so warm hearted, paid attention to detail, and maintained the utmost customer service attitudes. We stayed in Laurel, and the bathroom and bed were nothing less than extraordinary. The breakfast in the morning is incomparable. Housekeeping is friendly on top of thorough, which is something that is truly hard to find. Christopher is wonderful! He helped us with whatever we needed. The Elizabeths are very lucky to have such a wonderful son and assistant. Thanks to the Elizabeth's for creating what will be a staple memory in our life together.

My partner and I recently vacationed here for valentines day weekend. We stayed in the Willow room, which was beyond our expectations. The room is beautifully appointed and very clean. The bathroom, for us, was the highlight. Again very clean and an amazing shower. 11 shower heads, a jacuzzi tub, and a steam head in the shower. It was wonderfully relaxing. Additionally, our room looked out over the courtyard and the monument seemed to be in the back yard. Its such s great location.
Breakfast was also amazing. They went beyond the typical continental breakfast, and offered eggs, pancakes, waffles, home fries, etc. The other guest were also very friendly, as were the hosts. We will be back in the future and heartily recommend this b&b.

We are happy to hear you had an amazing romantic getaway from Vermont on St. Valentine's! The inn is at the heart of Provincetown, but rooms are tucked away amiss the most beautiful gardens that look magical in winter.
We hope to see you back with your partner and friends! Let's have a great get-together at the Provincetown Hotel at Gabriel's.
