“Great Inn with Great Views”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

My wife and I booked the last minute and we were lucky to get a room. We selected the Schoolman suite. This is a large two bedroom unit with a deck and great views located on the top floor. Go in the off season if you want a reduced rate. The Inn has two parking areas. The one on the road requires you to navigate several stairs, but it was not an issue. The back lot provides easier access to the Inn.

We were met by Eva one of the owners who was very pleasant during our stay. She was willing to help with all our needs and made our dinner reservation the first night.

The Inn has a common stocked refrigerator with water and soda which is free as well as some snacks. Each morning we received a great expanded continental breakfast, many items appeared to be made fresh. Loved the muffins and cinnamon rolls.

In the evening we had a cocktail hour with beer, wine, cheese, veggies, and munchies. Nice end to the afternoon. On Saturday Eva brought in a local singer to entertain us during the cocktail hour. This was a nice touch.

The owners live off site so the doors are locked at 8:00PM and require an access code to get in.

The location is very residential and a short 10 minute walk to downtown commercial street.

One comment is that the website states the Schoolman has a two person whirlpool tub. It is a standard one person whirlpool tub which was a little disappointing.

Suggestion to the Inn: Cookies in the evening with turn down service.

We will definitely return and recommend the Lands End Inn.

We live in Western Mass and travel to P-town at least 3-4 times a year. Generally we travel with friends and find a condo to stay in. This time we were planning a quick visit and decided on one of the many gorgeous rooms at Land's End. I've stayed once before and this experience was no less wonderful. The Inn itself is a beautiful structure, elevated above Commercial St. with sweeping water views from many of its rooms and all common areas. The decor is so full and eclectic you find new pieces to look at continuously. Our "standard" garden room had its own deck, enormous ocean view windows, a big beautiful bathroom and king sized bed. Oh, and it was immaculate. We were welcomed by Eva, the relatively new owner. She was attentive, aware of every guest's needs and incredibly sweet. We saw her later at the wine and cheese reception as well as in the morning at the tasty (expanded) continental breakfast. We plan to come back for their elaborate holiday party during Holly Folly Weekend and may just splurge on one of those over-the-top tower rooms. Thanks so much Eva!

This was a quick getaway and was one of the most relaxing destinations I've had the pleasure to enjoy. The inn is simply magnificent, our room was well worth the money spent during off season and was as lavish as I could have hoped for. Rusty checked us in and was as warm as the fire roaring. We look forward to visiting again during the warmer months.

Room Tip: Bay Tower. Need I say more... There's a reason it is rarely available.

I just wanted to write and share what a wonderful stay it was here! I was honored to have won their photography contest with the prize being a free night! The Moroccan Room was absolutely magical with the surrounding views of Provincetown, the little details throughout, and the romantic lighting…..It was fantastic! For me, taking photos off of the deck of our room at night, to being able to photograph a beautiful sunset at the nearby lighthouse that was in walking distance, perfect!….Waking up to a spectacular view of the sunrise was breathtaking! Then the breakfast! Wow!!! As a health conscious person this was fantastic! The warm apple, cranberry granola dish, endless fresh fruit, nuts, boiled eggs, yogurt, organic coffee~ I was in heaven! I left here feeling like I have had a mini vacation! Thank you again, I can't wait to return in warmer weather :)! Jules of ~ Amazing Jules Photography ~

This is such a special place. The website pictures are fantastic and very true but it is beyond words in person. The attention to detail in decor, service, and comfort make this spot a must. I stayed on the lower level in the Cape Cod room. It was very clean, very cozy and I couldn't of been more comfortable. I had a waterviews from all the windows. Their wine and cheese reception and breakfast in the morning were delicious and perfect end to the day and beginning to a new one. I will be going back as soon as possible!

Room Tip: Rooms on the lower level are accessed by going outside. Which is not a big deal in any kind of weath...

Wow! All of the rooms are appointed with artwork and artifacts from around the world. Each room - charming, elegant, romantic etc... always taking you to a lovely place. As I sat in the Moroccan room watching the sun setting, sipping on champagne, I felt relaxed and at peace. Whatever the weather, sitting outside has breathtaking views or you can find quietness and peace indoors. I look forward to visiting with my husband. Thank you Stan and Eva for a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: every room is simple beautiful. the Moroccan Room had a deck and gorgeous views.
