This was the first time I have ever stayed at a B&B. I was totally impressed. It's truly like home away from home. Bill and Brian really have an awesome place. I would highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed! Looking forward to staying there again.

The best breakfast for a B&B with fireplace. Great location, quiet near town.

We stayed here for a special occasion--5 years after our first stay. Snug Cottage is extremely cozy. The living room had a fire going at all time and hot coffee all day. They also put out cider and cookies in the afternoon. A great continental breakfast was served each morning. I booked the same room, The Windsor Room. The room was big with a great fireplace. They have DVD players in the room and a library of movies available. We loved getting take out and watching movies in front of the fireplace. The Windsor Room was a little loud this time though. You could hear the ice machine and sounds from the rooms above but otherwise we love this place and will definitely be back.

Stayed here with my sisters. I felt welcome the momement we got out of the car. Beautiful views. close to shopping and beach. Loved the nearby art galleries. The food and service was tremendous! So relaxing to sketch some of the shells I had found while having cider and cookies by the roaring fireplace. Loved the romance of the once upon a time Sea captains' home. Slept great with a beautiful quilt on my bed.

Our first trip to the Cape, to Provincetown, and to SNUG COTTAGE -- and it could not have been more pleasurable! I've pestered my husband for years to come to the Cape, but he has been very reluctant due to the noisy crowds and horrendous traffic. Finally he agreed to go this November to celebrate our anniversary -- a stroke of luck in terms of the time of year to visit (less traffic and fewer people).

I researched hotels online several weeks before our intended stay, and was very impressed with the overwhelmingly positive comments about Snug Cottage. All of the "rave" reviews for this place are every bit true! I didn't inquire into any other hotels or B&Bs -- the Snug was our first choice. We were able to get an absolutely adorable room, the Victoria, a small suite on the 2nd floor toward the back of the house, decorated in charming Victorian style with a wood-burning fireplace.

We stayed two memorable nights here and I wish it could have been at least a week. We wanted for nothing. We had free parking right across the street from Snug, a HUGE convenience (as anyone knows who has visited P'Town) and just blocks away from Commercial St and many fine restaurants and galleries. Bill gave us several suggestions for dinner and we decided to go to The Mews, only a few blocks away. We wound up having one of the most romantic and exquisite meals we've ever had in our travels. Bill and Brian (Snug's hosts) were so sweet and hospitable. We were introduced to their dog, Dakota, too. Breakfasts were yummy with a huge variety of choices: baked fruit cobbler (warm from the oven), muffins, delicious granola, diced fruit, dry cereals, hard-boiled eggs, quiche, juices, delicious coffee, tea, English muffins, jellies... How could one wish for more? We had lovely conversations with some of the other guests at the large breakfast table each morning (including a couple who had been coming to the Snug Cottage every year for the past 6 years), and my husband appreciated being able to read the NY Times, available along with several other newspapers. There is a laptop available for use, a very comfy common area to sit around the fire, and plenty of interesting coffee-table books everywhere. Soft, unintrusive music is always playing. Each afternoon the guests were treated to wine and cookies, freshly baked, as well as chocolates or caramels. It was tempting not to go out in the brisk weather to sight see, and stay inside instead! But we did venture out one afternoon to the Dunes (definitely worth a visit) where we took a 4 mile walk through the interesting landscape, and we spent quite a bit of time visiting the local shops and galleries.

As some guests have written, Snug Cottage felt like we were in our own home -- though more beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. This is one of the very few B&Bs we've ever visited where we definitely plan on returning again and again -- and we won't wait until our anniversary the next time! As far as we were concerned, don't even bother checking into other hotels or B&Bs in the area. Snug Cottage is THE ONE.

Room Tip: Every room is delightful!
