“Perfect location with attentive hosts”

My partner and I stayed again at this wonderful place. Everyone made us very welcome including extra heated water for my tea at any time. The view from our room 120 was magnificent and the two dogs kept us company every time we sat on the porch in those rocking chairs. Will definitely be back there next year.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms in the back are quiet and with an amazing view though there is no cover from the sun...

Can't say enough about this place. My husband and I have spent our last three anniv.s here at the Inn and we love everything about it! This was our fifth year going to PTown, our favorite, most relaxing spot to take in all the arts, tranquility, and uniqueness of this beautiful town.
We had stayed in other places on previous trips, but once we found the Anchor Inn, we fell in love. Chris and Michael and his mom are not only friendly and professional people, but they trully take pride in their "Home". It is not only spotless, but comfortable and tastefuly decorated. A nice breakfast offering starts your day. Not to mention the location... perfect; right in the heart of the Towns restaurants and shops. Beautiful, large front shaded porch, with lovely and private decks off the rooms with veiws of the water or the street. The only question is....Why would you want to stay anywhere else?

Carol and Mike

Room Tip: We have stayed in both room 118, wth a veiw of the street and room 114, with a gorgeous water view...

Had a very relaxing and fun weekend staying at the Anchor Inn. Excellent location - great people watching. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. Ginger and Molly, the resident labs, were well behaved and gave the place additional warmth. Room 115 was very nice, although the bathroom could use a towel hook and a slight paint touch-up, but I'm guessing that's on the list for the ongoing renovations. I was on the 2nd floor with a terrific harbor view. Generally, the noise was pretty light, but I apparently had a young child in the room above me, who was a little active at times. Top floor might have been better in that respect. However, the flip side was that our balcony had a ceiling that provided shade. Chris, the general manager, was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back!

Room Tip: Harbor view is great.

I am going to do my best to provide an unbiased review of this establishment.
Myself and my partner stayed in room 122, for our anniversary, after reviewing droves of the local Bed & Breakfasts, general motels and such, for the price the Anchor Inn excelled above the rest. Its location is a huge perk thats note worthy, located in the less hectic point of commercial St towards the end, but just a hop, skip an- wait nope, you're already there in the action! next door to Betsy's (who's breakfasts are amazing by the way). The view, it makes the entire establishment, sunrise leaves patrons breathless and not wanting, seeing over the vast Provincetown harbor.

Two person jacuzzi is an understatement, as 3 average sized people could definitely fit comfortably. The bed was a monstrosity of softness, only qualm with it would be the pillows, as they were the "These are a bit-to-soft" types, which is likely more a preference thing. An additional note, I am a hefty man, the exception when considering the general populace whom may pass through the facility, so to other portly peoples, be ginger with the beds as there is no center support, and that is by far no fault of the proprietors as most people I witnessed in Provincetown were generally either fit or at least thin. A negative point may be (take into mind the inn is also undergoing renovation,) is the ice machine, down about 35 grueling steps on the first floor, but the decor may make it a necessary sacrifice, we'll see what the future holds in regards to that.
Lastly yes, there are 2 big'ol softy Labrador dogs that you'll see on the front porch and wandering the first floor of the facility, the owners keep everything very cleanly so were it not for their size, you'd not know they were there at all. The dogs Molly and Ginger are adorable and just friendly as could be, though you may hear them outside bark once inna while, they're dogs after all!

All-in-all I'm not against frequenting this facility again in the future.
Sincerely Mr.Elliott.

Room Tip: Third floor overlooking the bay, worth the hike up the stairs.

This was our 3rd stay at the beautiful Anchor Inn. We stayed on the first floor overlooking the water which was heavenly. The only slightly negative comment, is that there was a very large wedding party also staying there, and with our room being on lobby level, our sleep was disrupted due to some very noisy and inconsiderate guests hanging out in the lobby area at 2am. As dog lovers, we were thrilled that the owners have their two Labs there to hang out with and give belly rubs to. Perhaps they will make the change in the future allowing guests to bring their own dogs as other hotels in Ptown have done.

Room Tip: Nothing better than a room with your own deck overlooking the water.
