Our cottage-style restaurant, with its cathedral ceiling, central stone fireplace, and tables hand-crafted by owner Victor DePoalo gives diners a comfortable, yet elegant place to enjoy these delicacies. To delight our guests, excellent food is always paired with our warm, gracious service. “Brunch at Victor's in Ptown”
Reviewed January 2, 2009

Victor's is located on Bradford Street, in the West End in a new building that is filled with light and features a beautiful chimney. Fortunately, the food is as appealing as the location and atmosphere. Portions (based on what we ate and saw being served at other tables) are large. The French Toast (which was laden with a crumbly cinamon toppinng), smoked salmon and bagel, and the "Fully Bellie" which included eggs, pancakes and meat left all of us more than full and quite happy.

Prices were moderate ranging from $9 - $12 for our brunch items. I will certainly return when we come back to Provincetown this summer and would suggest visitors try out this relatively new addition to Provincetown.

“Input from a Minneapolitan”
Reviewed October 7, 2008

Having visited Provincetown from Minnesota on two occasions this summer (early August & late September), i was able to see this restaurant in two different lights: peak and off-peak. I stopped for brunch, an early dinner, a late dinner, and cocktails during my time on the Cape.

This is what I found to be true: Victor's has some of the best in town. Food: Perfect sized portions, for sharing or for yourself. The flavors and offerings take advantage of local fare. Oyster/Clam Bar: Worth the visit alone!! Ambience: Pleasant and charming. I would be seriously disappointed Victor's looked like a Planet Hollywood or Chi-Chi's. Also, I wouldn't say it was loud but a popular restaurant will be noisy. Staff: Professional and always very personable. Value: Nothing sucks more on a vacation than having to watch your dinner expenses. I didn't have to at Victor's since everything is so well priced.

At the end of the day, regardless of the season, I think that when most individuals are going out to dinner in Provincetown, they want a restaurant to be pleasant inside and out (Victor's is), have a friendly and courteous staff (Victor's does), a kitchen team that knows flavors and nuances and can put together a tasty meal(they do), and a manager/owner that brings it all together (Victor's definitely does). Add in the reasonable pricing and you get a winner in my book.

Thank you for some great meals, Victor.

“Hamptons wannabe in Provincetown”
Reviewed September 12, 2008

Too bright, too loud, Viktor's is pretentious in a generic Ralph Lauren-esque countrified way. You could be anywhere...except Provincetown. I was with a group of six people and could only talk to the person next to me, had to shout at the waiter. The small plate format means that the wait staff can bring dishes haphazardly, with no regard for need or order, and had a tendency to swipe dishes off the table before we were done. The Thai salad was spicey but uninteresting, the teeny spring rolls bland, the short ribs and creme brulee good. Everything was way overpriced--my part of the bill came to $60 without drinks. There was no sense that the people in charge of the restaurant actually cared--from the contrived decor to the wait staff who practically threw plates on the table it seemed more like an effort to extract money from people rather than a place with a heart.

“a great addition to the provincetown restaurant scene”
Reviewed September 8, 2008

Friends that live in Provincetown suggested that we try Victor's. We have been visiting Provincetown for over 20 years and have a short list of favorite restaurants; Victor's is now at the top of that list. We also own and operate a restaurant in a tourist community and know what it takes to run a successful restaurant. The concept of small plates with familiar food prepared with an unusual flair is innovative and fun.The service was great; fun, informative without being intrusive. The waiter on both occasions was helpful in guiding us through the menu and making suggestions for wine. The room is airy with good lighting and has a great feel to it. We can't wait to go back!

“Great Food Friendly Staff Excellent experience”
Reviewed September 7, 2008

Have visited Victor's many times since it opened and have had nothing but a wonderful time. The decor is beautiful. The walls are lined with the most incredible art work. The owner Victor is very nice and gracious.
The food is excellent! The Chef, is fantastic and very creative. Everything on the menu is a special creation. I was very impressed with the quality of the food. It's a sharing menu and that concept is something new and worth trying. It is hard to decide between the listed menu and the specials. Everything about Victor's is modern and up to date. There's a great vibe to it. It's not a conventional, sit down and have a fried food platter restaurant. It has a more up scale urban feel to it.
I travel the world and have eaten at some of the finest restaurants, I would highly recommend a visit to Victor's.
I would make reservations well in advance, as it is usually packed!
Enjoy!
