We had a great time at drag brunch with Shady Pines. The food here is always great and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend having a reservation as if you don't it may be hard to get in.

Thanks to our generous vacation homeowner, we received a gift certificate to Victors. We enjoyed great cocktails and tapas in a really cool space away from the hustle and bustle of Commercial St. The drinks were fresh and large and the tapas were varied and delicious. Our waiter Enrique was quite attentive and sweet and snapped a great pic of the 4 of us at the table. Check out Victors for a nice way to end a fabulous Cape Cod beach day.

We finally were able to have dinner at "Victor's Restaurant", which has received rave reviews from several of our friends. We were not disappointed. We arrived and were greeted by friendly staff who seated us immediately. The food is served tapas style, which allowed us to chose from a wide variety of options. Our waiter, Ronald, explained the tapas concept as well as offering suggestions from the somewhat eclectic menu. The theme is Asian, although there is sufficient variety to please almost any diner. We chose three courses: Saki Mussels with ginger and chilis, a lobster, scallop and crabmeat fishcake and finally duck comfit sliders with figs. The mussels were undoubtedly the best I have ever had in my long life of eating mussels. The broth was out of this world. Ditto the fishcakes which were filled with crab and served with tomato salsa and a delicious avocado salad, which tempered the spicy fishcakes. And the comfit sliders? Out of this world. These three tapas were so filling that we had to decline dessert. While the tapas items were very reasonable, the wines were comparatively pricy, but typical for Provincetown. We chose an inexpensive ($32) Muscadet which was delicious and went well with our tapas choices. The dining area is bright, clean and welcoming; the atmosphere is 'vibrant', the wait staff friendly and professional. There is ample parking, which is rare in Provincetown. We loved VIctor's and will return. Hope that the Saki Mussel special will again be on the menu.

i can't say enough about this wonderful restaurant. i started at the bar with the best old fashioned i've had in this town! but before that the host made every effort to seat me as expeditiously as possible. Such a charming fellow, very polite and courteous as was everyone on staff. very attentive. and the food! i had the jumbo shrimp (prawns) fresh and succulent followed by the heirloom tomato-watermellon and feta salad. to die for!! and followed that with the portuguese mussels as my entre. perfect. and every one at the bar who saw the salad ordered it, too!! don't miss this restaurant whatever you do. you won't be disappointed.

Wenr to victors after having been there 2 years before with a local celeb and having been well treated then. The food was as good as I remembered--the all a la carte can add up, but for the most part is worth it. Service was attentive and friendly. However, we, a group of older women, asked to change to the empty table nearby for reasons of comfort and were told that was impossible as it was reserved. The whole time we were there, for 2 rounds of drinks and full dinners, no one ever occupied the table we were refused. On our way in a group of guys walking out gratuitously remarked loudly, "oh, look the girls are back in town," in a snarky way, but laughed when one of our group retorted, "yes, and there you are!" Not the place's fault, but maybe it set the wrong tone for feeling welcomed on top of being denied a perfectly available table for no discernible reason. So, if you like good food, but are sensitive to being coddled, it may not be the place for you.
