Service was sharp and attentive, good recommendations on food choices. Atmosphere is very enjoyable, clean and well kept. If you judge on rest rooms they are clean roomy. The fair is varied all are good choices, the raw bar is awesome.

“Great place service is hit or miss”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

We loved it at Victor's. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. Unfortunately we had a server that seemed more interested in talking to the other staff than providing us service.

The rest of the staff were great, down to the bus-staff. Located off the beaten path, if it's cold or raining, you'll want to get a cab to get there.

“We Booked Our Anniversary 4 Yrs in A Row”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Reservations are NOT honored at Victor's. From the first year, we patronized Victor's regularly. The first year was great quality, attitude, and atmosphere. The second year, we booked our anniversary a month ahead. We were asked to wait 1/2 hour anyway, then offered a lousy seat by the bar. Third year, we waited 1/2 even though we reserved a month ahead, again. They really pushed the "drinks while waiting." There were lots of severely loud and drunk people. There were lots of very poorly-dressed people. The fourth year, we reserved a month ahead as always, and the crowd, the wait, the pushing drinks, the attitude, and the FOOD were all disappointing. We were asked to wait 1/2 hour for newlyweds without reservations to finish We complained. After initally receivng a bad attitude, we were given an apology and an invite back for our anniversary. This year, we arrived at our month-ahead appointmed time, were asked to wait 40 mins for another couple to finish, newlyweds, again, and then asked to sit by the bar. Victor himself came out and was completely unprofessional, nasty, and unthankful of our patronage from day one. Meanwhile, the food has gone way downhill, the service is spotty, and there are always lots of drunks and slobs. We spent over two hundred as a couple on each anniversary visit and tipped well. We even shared with our neighbors and made friends. No excuses for Victor's descent into low quality. The view from the "patio" is condos to one side and a dirt lot overlooking an empty lot. This is also on the corner of a busy street.

“Great for a special night or happy hour”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

Looking at the pros and cons of this restaurant is quite easy. So here they are from my perspective.

PROS
First, happy hour raw bar is awesome and if you time it right it can be the appetizer to your early dinner.
Second, the cucumber martini and specialty margarita were delicious. And the beer selection is good too.
Third, this place is very well run. The staff are a pleasure and knowledgeable.
Fourth, portions are between tapas size and full meals. Really I would say that each choice is equal to 4 or 5 tapas (or pinchos as you would be served in northern Spain). This gives you opportunity to taste numerous of the dishes.
The food was delicious and well presented. The two of us, after a substantial helping of raw bar, had 5 of the dishes from the fish section and veggie sections and they were all excellent. We did not have room for desert.

CONS
There really is only one con, price. To eat dinner here outside of happy hour raw bar is an expensive proposition. We ate here for a special occasion and we would choose do it again without hesitation knowing what we know now. This restaurant does serve things that I never had anywhere else and they do what they do well, so for a celebration of a special event this was perfect and worth it. This won't, however, be a place we frequent for dinner... except we will certainly be back for happy hour!

“BEST RAW BAR”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

To say it's the best doesn't reflect that it's the best ANYWHERE!!! Travelling abroad and across the USA I've never come across the tight, cold, super fresh Tiger Shrimp and super fresh, plump oysters as at Victors. They are served with 3 delicious dip choices and the bar is one of most fun in PTown BUT also THE BEST SIZE; you actually get a real martini (old fashion sized)!! Dinner within the over-sized bar is available or enjoy in the Aspen-feel restaturant with a huge fireplace and mammoth vaulted ceilings. Tapas portioned food is served which will make everyone happy!
