Great museum and views from top of monument. Loved the plaques that represented when every Massachusetts town was founded.

“A beautiful view of the Harbor and Boston!”

Our museum guide, Tom, was so knowledgeable of the history of this amazing Monument. This is a fantastic site to have a picnic, and enjoy the beautiful gardens as well!

“Great way to see the tip of Massachussets”
Reviewed July 30, 2014

The Pilgrim Monument is beautiful and even if you don't want to climb the many stairs to the top, the view at the base is quite nice.

The Provincetown Museum is more interesting with artifacts from the great history of the town. Well worth a visit.

Note: Use the bathroom before going in. There are no public restrooms available.

Definitely a great view and interesting history museum. A must visit. The staff wasn't very well informed of the surrounding waters and questions we had. All around a good visit, definitely a must-do in P-Town. Make sure you go before the monument closes!! We almost missed it!

“I could see for miles and miles...”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

We started our day here by climbing up the monument with our four kids, which took about 10 minutes. We had a clear morning, which gave us spectacular views of Ptown, the entire Cape, and both the bay and the Atlantic. Lots of good photos!! The museum is worth a look, with some nice history of the Pilgrims and the whaling industry era of Provincetown. The museum personnel were very friendly and helpful, giving us good advice about "can't miss" things to do while in town.

You pay to park there, but can keep your car there while you tour Provincetown the rest of the day - it is very accessible to Commercial Street and the wharf area.
