“What a Spectacular View...and Skip the Stairmaster!”
Reviewed January 21, 2012

You see this 100 year old monument as you drive into town. It iis a demarcation point. When you hike the granite stairs to the observation area, you are in for a treat. A wonder, high, vantage point to snap pictures of Provincetown. You actually see the curve of the Cape. A geographic wonder. Cape Cod Ben.

“Do it while you're still fit.”
Reviewed December 14, 2011

Yes, it is a long way up, but the ramps alternating with the steps make it much more tolerable, even for old people like me. Unfortunately, I now have asthma, and I don't think I could do it anymore. The wife and I did it about five or so years ago, when we were in a little better shape, and it was worth the effort, for sure. The view is spectacular, and on a nice, clear day, it truly does seem you can see forever. Don't put it off. Just do it. Trust me.
