Lots of stuff to see & do here. Busy place. Courteous & friendly staff. Nice spring outdoor BBQ & sun-tanning available in their airdirondack chairs

I do not ski but we often go here to walk, picnic, take picture, leaf peeping or just enjoy the weather. On a nice mostly sunny day you can see at least 30 miles away. I am told you can see Boston but I am not sure if it is true.

You can drive to the top for a $2 park entrance fee. They have radio towers at the top with at virtually a 360 degree view.

We have often gone here for events being held at the ski lodge/restaurant area such as October fest, craft shows and monthly event they hold. These events are generally for a fee to get into the door but worth a reasonable price. For certain events the ski lift will take you to the top.

One of the nicest aspects of Wachusette Mountain Ski Area is the presence of a Chair lift on the discounted lower slopes providing access to a very nice ski trail for beginning skiers.

We went during the week. We were fortunate that the weather was perfect...alternating between sun and clouds/snow. I paid for my son to have a ski lesson, and the instructor was fantastic! It was his first time skiing and after the lesson and about an hour more of practice, he was on the green slopes skiing like a pro! VERY pleased with the facilities, prices, staff, etc. Everyone was helpful and kind. The restaurant had very good food as well - we ate in the cafeteria as well as the 2nd floor restaurant. Will return for sure!

Went here about a week ago, to check it out. It snowed a Lot. The kids were off from school. I'm about 3 hours away. Didn't stay long this day. Went back again yesterday. It was GREAT. Had cider and donut in Bullock's Lodge. Went up to the top were the fire tower is. Can see Boston from there. A full 360 degree view. This is the tallest mountain in the area. Had a Great time.
