Disgusting smelly room! On the website the rooms look clean, well lit, and updated. Not the case!room smells like stale cigarettes. I had to put dryer sheets all over the place. It's dark and dingy, and did I mention $155.00 plus tax!?

Room Tip: There are no good rooms

This hotel has a great location, but the service and noise are terrible. The location is worth the high price of over $100 a night, but not the service. We had to ask for clean towels, a trash bag because our overflowing trash can was not cleaned. We also had to ask for a box of tissue and toilet paper. It is interesting that envelopes were left in our room for tips. The view from our room was gorgeous, but if you looked at the room it was a huge disappointment. The noise at night would wake up anyone - lots of running around and slamming of doors. The continental breakfast was one of the worst that we've ever seen. The fridge was filthy, and luckily we had some wipes with us so we could wipe down the room. We will not stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else

My husband and I booked 4 nights through the internet based on the professional photos. OMG, when we got there it was horrible. Mind you we just drove up from Jersey and got in about 10pm. First, we were given a pet room and my husband says we booked a room on the waterside. She then gave us a different room (we have no pets). We then parked in back and came upon broken glass in lot and shady characters smoking then doing a quick disappearing act. Now to the room, walked in and the smell hit us first, something used to cover up a damp and musty smell. Over the door, the ceiling was about to collapse from water. ughh, went over to the table in the room and there was old food (looked like rice) and a wrapper under the table. The bedspreads were dirty and thrown over the beds. I did not even go in the bathroom area. Very dark and dingy room. One panel window next to door to look out of. Did not stay, we left and gave someone else our business.

My three kids and I stayed there for 2 nights and it was disgusting. It smelled awful and when I turned on the water in the shower, it came out brown so I had to let it run awhile. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The lobby will fool you. The stench was so bad in the room that I had to ask for another room for the second night. The first room smelled like cigarette smoke and dirty butt. The kids and I could not identify the smell of the second room but could have been drugs cooking in another room.
Very scary and nasty. Please stay away.

Room Tip: Stay away from it.

I was very happy with the Hotel. I was in room 320 and the view was great and the room was very clean. The employee that cleaned my room was very friendly and professional her name was Tami and the Bradford is lucky to have an employee of her dedication and professionalism.

Thank You,
Frank J

Room Tip: Great location and very clean rooms. Room 320 great ocean view.

We checked in on Thursday at 5 p.m. And found out we were supposed to be staying on the third floor-with no elevator. The desk clerk tried to accommodate our need for no stairs and booked us into a bottom floor room that was dirty, smelled really badly and the toilet was running non-stop. The room looked and smelled as though it had been closed up for years. At this point we went back to the desk and they placed us in the original third floor room. It was a big improvement until Friday morning at 5:30 a.m. when we were awakened by a "security person" pounding on our door, after he had opened the door, saw us sleeping and re-locked the door. We ignored the banging at first thinking someone was at the wrong door. Finally I opened the door and was told we did not belong here in this room. I was made to produce my receipt and explained what took place at check-in, he said he would take care of it with the clerk. So much for sleeping-in when you're away!! On day two, we came back late afternoon to find our room untouched- despite having left the 'service please' sign on the door at 8:30 a.m. This hotel is very rundown and in need of major renovations. Carpets on the decks are filthy and torn. Stairwells reminded us of a city parking garage. Others in our group had holes in their room walls. Many of the people we saw staying here appeared to be homeless or awaiting section 8 housing. We definitely will not ever stay here again or recommend this place to anyone. It's really a shame because it is situated right on Plymouth Harbor with the most amazing view you could ever want to see.

I'm sorry for the confusion you experienced during your stay. We have been working hard to improve the property. A lot of changes have been made but we are not done yet. I have addressed all of your concerns with our staff and we are working to make sure that this sort of confusion does not happen again.
We did have a few people who had been staying here long term over the winter. We are now under new management and have eliminated the availability of long term stays.
Thank you for your comments, they help us to identify the areas where we need work.

We stayed in Plymouth for one night and chose the Bradford Inn because of its location and the fact that it was cheap. Never again. The little town is nice and well worth visiting, specially if you are interestested in history. But the hotel is just terrible, the staff was not very helpfull and friendly and the outdoor stairs were so dirty. The room in itself was OK. The overall problem was what was going on in that hotel. And there was a lot of noice from people partying most of the night, without any staff stopping it. We really felt unsafe. Our stay was prepaid, otherwise we would have moved to another hotel. Avoid it.

I'm sorry to hear of the troubles you experience. We now have a staff member on property 24 hours a day to help to prevent any noise issues over night. We are learning about the areas we need work and addressing all issues as they arise. We are now under new management and are constantly trying to improve and to make Bradford Inn & Suites better than ever.
