A nice respite from the business of Water Street and tourists. But still a great spot to learn more about this beautiful town. Well-kept landscaping, sculptures, fountains, historical plaques. Benches to rest.

Lovely stream that runs from grist mill to a view of ships in the harbor. No admission. Eat your lunch or snack in the shade. Feels like a secret getaway.

A nice way to get from the Grist Mill to the waterfront. Pretty gardens, nicely landscaped place to stroll, sit and spend some time.

This paved trail along Town Brook from the Grist Mill to the waterfront is absolutely beautiful and relatively unknown and secluded. We did not encounter another person during our walk. The trail is well below street level so you have a sensation of being in a beautiful and quiet forest instead of being in the center of town.

Do it but please keep it a secret.

Pretty little garden right across from the waterfront. Nice place for a peaceful walk or run. Not a far walk from the Main Street.

We walked through this park on a recent visit and was surprised to find such a peaceful and relaxing place near a busy tourist area. The walking path goes along a small stream and has benches along the way to sit and relax and watch the ducks. You can walk under a bridge and up to a real grist mill with a turning wheel and waterfall.
