Description: "The CabbyShack, on historic Plymouth harbor, is the spot for gorgeous views, tons of seats under the sun, live music all season long, and seafood so fresh it practically jumps straight from the ocean to the kitchen. The basic boiled lobster weighs in at about a pound and a quarter. But those in the know ask for the super-sized three-and-a-half pound Big Man's Lobster. Equally eye-popping is the 'Big Shack' Roll. It's the biggest lobster roll in town, overflowing from a grilled buttered roll. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the CabbyShack sells thousands of them a week. It's the perfect summer meal, for the perfect summer day. The CabbyShack's menu is loaded with fun summer foods like hand battered onion rings, colossal shrimp cocktail, golden fried clams, and -- believe it or not -- some of the best bar pizzas on the South Shore. But the dish they're most famous for is their award winning clam chowder, served in a fresh baked bread bowl. Rich chowder, big lobster rolls, and fun all summer long, keeps everybody coming back, to the CabbyShack." - Phantom Gourmet

“Good food Great location”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

We had some lobsters and the dinner special (stuffed pork roast) and it wall all very good. The staff is friendly enough, but we noticed everything took a little longer than you would expect. It was reasonably priced and we would go back.

“Best Clam Chowdah!!!!!!”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

When you are in Plymouth, MA and are looking for a casual dining experience with fabulous clam chowder, walk down the road to the Cabby Shack. It is footsteps away from Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower. The clam chowder is delicious! Filling, satisfying and just the beginning. The wait staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun.

don't miss out on the Clam Chowder ... lots of beer on tap ... the Fish Rueben & Fried Clams were pretty good too ... lots of sports TVs here ... so if you want to watch the game while you eat this is the place

“Dissapointing”
Reviewed September 19, 2013

Blue neon lit all around with ocean view, joyfully populated you'd expect some good service and food too...
Unnecessary wait to be seated, slow and unprofessional service, wine brought half empty in a water glass and row chicken served in a cold bun potentially causing serious health problems.
There are better places to dine in Plymouth.

“Counter person clipping nails”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

Sorry to say, I stopped in early on Wed morning to get a menu and the young heavy set woman at the counter managed to give me some information as she CLIPPED HER NAILS AT THE COUNTER, DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME. Needless to say, we did not dine at this location.
