“Great little Seafood Restarant”
Reviewed August 26, 2014

We ate here while doing the tourist thing in Plymouth. This is the kind of home town seafood restaurant you would expect to find near the docks. If you want ambiance and expensive seafood eat someplace else. If you want large servings of fresh seafood meals (like claim strips) with quick service then this is the place. At this restaurant you place your order at the counter and they bring the meal to you. The decor is kind of picnic like but there is plenty of room and good views of the harbor out the numerous windows. I had the steamed mussels and broiled haddock both of which were very good. I would think this is a good family place because they have a diverse menu and it is not very expensive.

“Good prices, great view, good chowder”
Reviewed August 25, 2014

My clam chowder was tasty and had an average amount of clams. No complaints, really, but I love chowder and it didn't blow me away. Another person in our group loved their lobster and the corn on the cob I got with my meal was hot and fresh. Fried shrimp seemed nice and fresh and perfectly fried. We ate there on a Sunday, sort of early in the day.
The prices are fair and the dining room is nothing fancy but it's right on the water with a view of the commercial fishing boats. Only thing keeping me from going with 5 stars is that I really look for a special chowder at local seafood places like this.

“Awesome seafood bisque!”
Reviewed August 20, 2014

Probably the most delicious seafood bisque I've ever had! Other food was good too, but bisque was outstanding. Service was good too. Will definitely go back if we're ever in the area again.

“A local favorite”
Reviewed August 16, 2014

Woods is the go-to place for its fish market and its good food cheap reputation. A favorite with local year-round. All the traditional New England offerings - good fried seafood plates, great chowder, lobster at great prices. Very casual, right on the docks where the fishing boats come in. Nothing fancy but the real deal.

“delishious seafood”
Reviewed August 16, 2014

the food isright off the boats and super inexpensive but the atmosphere is fun. alot to choose from and easy to get to. great views because its right on the wharf. there is a fish market there also. so take a lobster or two home. then just sit backand wait for your order to be ready. extra tartar sauce if you want or cole slaw for 50 cents . cant beat that.
