The food is always fresh and prices are reasonable. Sometimes difficult to find parking if you want to run in and out. Love Wood's Seafood

The food was good and at a reasonable price. The young lady at the order counter was not friendly and very stoic. We ordered our food and paid simultaneously then waited for quite some time for them to call our number (5 later orders after ours was submitted)........locals fed first.
When bussing our tray, the young man handling the cleanup was rude and failed to acknowledge (ignored us, turned away, no eye contact, no communications) my attempt to assist (brought the tray over and cleaned up the table). It would have been warranted if we had come with an attitude, but that was quite the contrary. Yes, it is a tourist area but the locals do make a living off of them, so a little courtesy should be exhibited.

We chose this place over the adjacent Lobster Hut. No frills (but clean) dining area. Great value. Had a twin lobster plate, fried smelt, fried oysters, clam chowder and a cheeseburger for the youngest child. The portions were so large we couldn't finish the meal (unusual for us). Quality of food met expectations. Some items were truly excellent. The coleslaw was the tastiest I've had at any restaurant. The clam chowder was better than Legal Sea Food, especially remarkable as it was half the price of the latter's. We'll probably be back when we swing through here on the second leg of our trip.

I tried the lobster and steamed clams. This place is the typical New England seafood shack; seafood is fresh and fairly priced. The dinning room is pretty plain and basic (order the food at the counter, wait for your number to be called and pick it up back in the counter)

We were visiting Plymouth so we wanted to get a lobster roll and this place had the best reviews. what we got was a toasted bun the size of a hot dog roll with about a 4oz portion of lobster meat and a spoon full of mayo sitting on top of the lobster. if this is a lobster roll i don't understand what the hype its all about. at least mix the mayo and maybe some fresh parsley and dill! the stuff at their seafood market looked fresh but pricey. the lobster was good and fresh but lacking on execution. we are going to look for a more satisfying lobster roll today and will keep ya posted.
