We literally were seated right away, which is nice. So many places require reservation and still make you wait for your table. Wait staff was pleasant. The Sangria was good. Food was very slow, but I am sure it is part of the "experience".---You know, good food takes time, enjoy your company, etc. But it was very, very, slow. Which would have been fine, if the food was divine! It took so long to get our appetizer that we thought they forgot. We had their version of nachos/queso(?), a plate with literally 10 chips (they were fresh) and a small ramikin of chili (maybe 4 oz), topped with a white gourmet type cheese. I thought maybe there was a mistake. NO, this was their version. Ok, fine. I understand not filling up on appetizers, but let me be the judge of that. Not the kitchen. So we waited and waited and waited. I had steak and frites. The steak was edible, but not delectible. The frites were quite good though...seasoned, some flaked cheese (just enough) and rosemary, of all things. That was a nice suprise. My spouse had free range fried chicken. It was tender, juicy, but zero taste. Really bland. I didn't even taste salt, or pepper, very basic spices that can do wonders. We left feeling unsatisfied, knowing we would not be going back.
