“No Haddock at a New England Restaurant on the Bay?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2010

This was our first time visiting Plymouth and after a day of sight-seeing we chose to eat supper at the East Bay Grill. We ate outside on the lovely patio which was full of lush perennial summer grasses and palm trees; however the food was truly blah, blah, and more blah. We were very surprised that a restaurant situated directly on the bay only offered scrod and not haddock. How can you serve seafood at a New England restaurant and not offer haddock? What about dinner rolls? In any case, once the meals arrived we discovered that they were lukewarm and overly salted. Next time we are in Plymouth we will do a little more research on the local restaurants and eat elsewhere.

“Best Restaurant in Plymouth”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2010

Oh, the clam chowder. To die for. Best Clam Chowder we had in Plymouth (and we had clam chowder at every lunch/dinner). Excellent Service. Great view of the water. Easy parking (free valet). The food was excellent and not overpriced. Very fresh seafood and delicious bread to start. I will go back to this restaurant every time I visit Plymouth.

“Very average at best”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2010

Having been unable to get in at another restaurant my friends and I tried this place. Eating outside was nice, but that was the best thing. The food was dull and poorly cooked, dry fish, shrivelled vegetables.

“All Hype”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2010

After hoping to have a great dining experience what a horrible meal!! The location is not waterfront, it has a parking lot that is waterfront though!

I asked for my steak to be done medium, it was more than well done. Shrimp meal was dry, and we ordered a half dozen of cherry stones, and were served 5, counting must be an issue. Our server made good and brought out the missing 6th and one for the miss count. Chocolate cake YUCK! drier than dry!

Server was very good, she should work elsewhere, she would be more appreciated!!
