The restaurant is self serve. You place your order and wait for your tray of food. It is big with room for kids to stretch out. The food was good and relatively modest price.

“Satisfied the cravings”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2012

A group of old friends were gathering for a vacation in the Plymouth area. Members of our group went to the Lobster Hut at least 5 times over the course of the week. I didn't hear a single negative eperience. It is best if you can go at off-peak times, the place can get very busy. It's nothing fancy, order at the counter and pick up your food when called. But it was clean, friendly, and seemed like an authentic place. I had the big lobster roll my first trip, very good...lot's of meat, little or no filler, great fries. Second trip I had the fried shrimp and lobster combo. They did a quality job of frying seafood, light breading, hot, and not greasy. I took some lobster bisque to go (another in our party raved about it) and it may have been as good as I've had. The NE clam chowder was underwhelming, but that bisque...mmmm.

“Not nice”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2012

Was really looking forward to eating fresh lobster but was so disappointed with everything cooked in a deep fat fryer. Luckily found a nicer place across the road called Woods Seafood where the lobster was fantastic

“Fast Food With Lobster”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2012

Getting whole lobster so cheaply was a new experience for us. The restaurant was Macdonalds style in every way, with a fcous on lobstaer, clams and crabs. Food was OK but not brilliant. Could be very busy but we went on a wet Sunday night. Good close parking.

“Disappointed”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2012 via mobile

We went in there hoping for good new England seafood. We were disappointed big time. I got fried calamari that was very greasy. There was so much breaking that you couldn't taste the calamari. He got fish and chips and it was the same thing. And, it was not all that reasonably priced. We definately wouldn't go back.
