We first visited the Office Bistro the week they opened. Not a great experience as they hadn't had an opportunity to shake down their service. The music was so loud you couldn't have a conversation at the same table. However, we decided to try it again and it turned out to be a pleasurable experience. We visited on a Monday night at about 6:30pm. Not a soul in the restaurant and only one or two people om the bar side. Not a good sign. However, as we had just walked out of another restaurant where we could not get service, we decided to settle in on the restaurant side with a window table overlooking the harbor.
Our waitress greeted us and got us two splashes of Chardonnay so we could decide which wine we would buy by the bottle. She had a nice quirky attitude and handled us well. We ordered two of the 10 inch flatbreads to share and individual salads for each of the four of us. The food was very good if not overwhelming. The other hot points I look for in a restaurant were met. The music was background music so it was easy to hold a conversation. The wine by the glass was pricy ($10 glass / $34 bottle) but not outrageously so. The waitress was good and the ambiance was pleasant. The bill was $101 including a bottle of wine but wthout the tip. Our friends were pleased and I'm sure we will try it again.
