We first visited the Office Bistro the week they opened. Not a great experience as they hadn't had an opportunity to shake down their service. The music was so loud you couldn't have a conversation at the same table. However, we decided to try it again and it turned out to be a pleasurable experience. We visited on a Monday night at about 6:30pm. Not a soul in the restaurant and only one or two people om the bar side. Not a good sign. However, as we had just walked out of another restaurant where we could not get service, we decided to settle in on the restaurant side with a window table overlooking the harbor.

Our waitress greeted us and got us two splashes of Chardonnay so we could decide which wine we would buy by the bottle. She had a nice quirky attitude and handled us well. We ordered two of the 10 inch flatbreads to share and individual salads for each of the four of us. The food was very good if not overwhelming. The other hot points I look for in a restaurant were met. The music was background music so it was easy to hold a conversation. The wine by the glass was pricy ($10 glass / $34 bottle) but not outrageously so. The waitress was good and the ambiance was pleasant. The bill was $101 including a bottle of wine but wthout the tip. Our friends were pleased and I'm sure we will try it again.

Terrific creative menu with attentive host and staff. Great selection of craft beers. Comfy atmosphere for small groups and live music often..

After visiting historical attractions in Plymouth, and before leaving to drive to Boston we simply wanted a place with no fuss to have a quick meal that didn't come with the traditional bucket of chips or hash browns. The Bistro gave us a fantastic tapas option with good portions all tasting great and authentic. If you want something quick and easy or even to dwell a little then this makes a great option. Highly recommended for the traveller and local alike.

We went there this past Saturday and the first good check is that I called at 4pm to see if they could accommodate 5 of us for a 730 reservation (check). We hit the bar first for a drink and instantly were happy with their incredibly comfortable bar stools. Service was prompt and their red sangria is quite delicious. For dinner, we ordered salads, 2 flatbread pizzas, the grilled cheese and soup, braised short ribs, ravioli of the day and there was plenty of food for the 5 of us and all of it was quite good. Also, it was VERY hot on the restaurant side and our waitress instantly noticed me waving my menu around to catch a breeze and turned the air conditioner up, which kicked in instantly and we were once again comfortable. Our bill came to $212 (including 20% tip) and also included 3 rounds of drinks, so I was quite pleased with The Office, for $43pp, I spent time with time with friends in an enjoyable, comfortable atmosphere, imbibed some delicious cocktails, had some semi-inventive tapas and received welcoming service given with some personality and a smile from our waitress. We are all quite pleased with this addition to Plymouth and will definitely be back.

Located on the main drag in Plymouth in the prime tourist area, Office Bistro is a friendly, little tapas restaurant. Staff was friendly and competent, selections adequate and drink selection was good. Ample portions and 3 tapas per person is plenty. Willing to accommodate any dietary restriction. Laid back atmosphere.
