Beautiful new outside deck and bar... wonderful fresh fish that I could not find anywhere else in Plymouth... fun atmosphere and great service...a "real" restaurant with good quality and creativity that is a breath of fresh air compared to the places downtown and on the waterfront that are packed with kids looking for beers and who couldn't care less about quality in food and presentation... MY NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN PLYMOUTH!!!

Right next to the Blue Spruce motel and the food was great. the shrimp were huge and the dinner was fabulous. Combine that with a Mayflower IPA and all is well at 42 North.

We have dined at 42 Degrees North since they opened about a year ago. The service is always excellent, the portions large and delicious (but occasionally a bit too aromatic - as the clam chowder was yesterday), the food is fresh and attractively presented. Both lunches and dinners are equally as good. The new outdoor dining deck and bar has been a delightful addition this summer. How good is it? We now eat there at least twice a month!

Met a friend who was staying on the cape as I was coming from Boston. Good midway meeting spot for us as this place is only 10mins off route 3. I like the open outside layout with the bar and tables together.. just wish it was a better view rather than a parking lot.

Anyway.. the drinks were spot on.. not too crazy. Had the clam chowder whichwas just ccreamy enough, not too crazy but the stripped bass over risotto was fantastic. Was a huge portion of fish done perfectly. Overall a very good place.

From start to finish this was a superb dining experience. The server was fast, friendly, professional and extremely attentive. The food was large portions and delicious. One of the seafood (wahoo) specials of the evening came with lobster mashed potato that was to die for. My dining partner said his steak was one of the best he has ever eaten. This establishment will definitely be on our list the next time we are visiting Plymouth.
