Food was pub like but very good! Bartenders are friendly. Atmosphere is great for watching a ball game and the street traffic makes it interesting. Good amount of beers on tap! Corn bread is to die for! :)

Locals should become knowledgeable of their special nights. All you can eat taco night, burger night, etc. Great value. The menu is vast and the food is nothing fancy, but it is reliably good and there is always plenty of it. We have had their breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were good. Their kids menu has plenty of options and it is already loud in there, so if your kids make a fuss, nobody will notice! The antique items and various pieces of art make for a fun casual atmosphere.

I came here with four friends for a Sunday morning brunch. We had called two weeks ahead of time to find out if there was a way to reserve a table. We were told if we called an hour before we were going to arrive that morning, that our name would be put on the list. We called that morning an hour before we arrived, and were told the same thing, that our name was put on the list. When we walked in, they recognized our party and we were told it would be just five minutes to clear our table. Then a waitress came out and told us that is not their policy and that our name would only be added to the list now and that it would be a 30 to 60 minute wait. 45 minutes later, We checked the list and there were four parties ahead of us and we were told it would be "another 20 minutes". 20 minutes later we were told it would "be another 20 minutes". At this time we were directed to another local establishment for their "really good brunch" by the front desk staff. We then asked to speak to the manager who came out on the defensive. When we said we wanted to talk to him about some "misinformation" that we were given, he immediately responded "we'll see about that". He then proceeded to refute all of the facts of what we were told, saying that is not their policy and that he tells all of his waitstaff that. He completely denied that there was anyway we could have been given misinformation. He was snide and snarky the entire time, never once apologizing. Amazingly, the front desk staff who had given us the misinformation that our table will be ready in five minutes stood there and said nothing through this whole exchange. I have never seen worse customer service. He broke every rule in the customer service book. We had a lovely brunch at the Water St., Café. Highly recommend! There was no wait.

Sort of a low key, down to earth cowboy bar with interesting people and great beer and food. Very easy to relax, not too loud, plenty of display screens for watching sports although that may not be the reason you visit.
