“Comfortable and friendly...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

As we learned this weekend, there's a lot more to Plymouth than just "the Rock". And after two busy days of site seeing that involved a lot of walking, Thornton Adams was a great place to kick back and relax. Sandy is a wonderful host. We were fortunate to share a great breakfast and pleasant conversation with her and the other guests. It's very convenient to downtown Plymouth and yet just far enough away (maybe a mile?) that it's easy to relax in the peace and quiet of the back patio. It's also very close to White Horse Beach and Manomet Point, both of which are worth the few minutes to get there.

Stayed at TAH while visiting our daughter and grandson in nearby Pembroke. We stay at B&Bs all over the country, TAH is an excellent B&B. Very nice accommodations, delicious breakfasts, hostess Sandy makes you feel like one of the family vs just a guest. Very convenient to all the touristy stuff in Plymouth. Highly recommend TAH.

Sandy is a fantastic host. We rode our motorcycles down from NH for a gathering of old high school friends. Eryn's room was just what we needed with a great view. Breakfast was great in both days with today's French toast being my new favorite! This was our first B&B experience and will not be our last! Thanks Sandy!

Beautiful facility and lovely room. Sandy who ran the inn offered breakfast of all we liked the best and that fit our dietary requirements. Also had discount coupons for all the local sites and suggestion for seeing the best of the area. Felt like a best friend with all the answers.

Very nice, friendly, warm - a great place to spend a few days!

We stayed there while attending a wedding. I came down with a torn tendon and Sandy, the very wonderful hostess/owner, was amazing. She supplied us with a foot bath, creams, advice and even brought her wonderful breakfast up to the room so I didn't have to hobble down the stairs. This attention to detail and caring for the people who come to your home is why B&Bs like this one are such wonderful places to stay. You meet very nice people, and sometimes you meet owners who gladly go above and beyond to make sure you are okay.

Room Tip: The Jacuzzi room is their biggest, nice size and very comfortable.

This was a great place to stay. The owner, Sandy was very helpful with advice on what to see and do in Plymouth. She was very warm and welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. The house was nicely decorated with pretty gardens and a view of the bay. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. This B&B was one of highlights of our trip. Thank you Sandy for making us feel so welcome. Kathy B

A truly delightful place to stay. We genuinely felt looked after by Sandy, someone who is one of life's good people. The house is peaceful and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was delicious, interesting and different every morning. Gluten free heaven too! Wonderful view of the bay from the house. We were given lots of interesting suggestions for things to do which all turned out to be excellent. Our few days here will be very fondly remembered and made the visit to Plymouth very special.

Room Tip: We loved the Seaview suite at the tip of the house.
