Description: Patrizia's is an authentic European Italian restaurant located in Plymouth's historic waterfront. We believe in the Italian culinary tradition of cooking "secondo la stagione," which is based on seasonally available produce and the daily catch, featuring hearty dishes in the cold winter months and lighter fare in spring and summer. Come and have your family discover the dolce vita!

We live locally and dine at Patrizia's when we want upscale Italian food. This is a not your average "red sauce" restaurant but one that offers a fine dining experience, food is cooked to order with fresh ingredients and served in a timely manner. Add stellar service, a lovely ambiance and what's not to love!

The menu is Italian food not Italian-American.

We have a daughter who lives in Italy and we visit her for months at a time. We know Italian food.

The service reflects the fact that everything is cooked to order.

If you want microwaved food in sauces developed in a corporate lab go to one of the chains or franchises.

If you want authentic Italian go to Patrizia's.

We recently dined with a large group. The swordfish and cod were outstanding and our guests raved about it. The scallops and shrimp dish was average, the lobster salad was not well-received and tasted frozen. The ravioli dish was excellent, but portion very skimpy.
So if you want a great meal, go to this restaurant and order the fish.
Service was excellent and so were the appetizers, salads, and desserts.
The place is very busy and I think the overall rating here is probably appropriate.

Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. It doesn't great any better. Wine list is extensive and daily specials are to die for.

Our primi piatti was the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce - absolutely out of this world. For our second course, we had the petti di pollo, again with gorgonzola sauce. This entree was spectacular, with the gorgonzola sauce completely difference from that used with the gnocchi. This sauce was light, saffron in color, and with a very subdued gorgonzola. Would that I could find that dish around here!

Overall, this was the best dinner of the eight I enjoyed on my recent trip to Plymouth. While I agree with Hiking Fool that these weren't the biggest portions imaginable, they were perfectly fine. Frankly, If I want food like grandma used to make, I'll take Patrizia’s any day. Enjoy the ambiance! Enjoy the victuals!! Drink more red wine!!!
