I don't know about you, but I generally have a certain opinion when I hear "Best Western" and I usually won't stay at one. But the reviews I read on Trip Advisor convinced me to try it and, I have to admit, I wasn't disappointed. The front desk staff were great and the location couldn't have been better. We were able to walk to the "rock" and shops/restaurants. Our room was big and comfortable. Also, where our room was located was part of the charm. We had room 19, so if you go and want a king bed, request this room.

Very helpful man at check-in, with useful info about local restaurants (I’m glad we didn’t get checked in by the rude woman who stormed out of the office demanding that one of the staff give her something “NOW!”).

We were on level 2 of the building diagonally across from reception – the room and bathroom looked neat and clean but my husband noticed a stale smell (ironically this is probably from having the windows open as cigarette flumes blow in from the smokers on the deck as soon as you open the windows). There was also an awful smell when we turned on the air con unit at the back of the room – it stank of mould, and looked full of leaves. The walls were paper thin, we heard every cough, snore and grunt of the occupants surrounding us, and so practically no sleep.

The small fitness room was very handy, with the modern treadmill much appreciated. Breakfast was very crowded and the staff tried their best to keep refilling – they were repeatedly under pressure from the commando-style senior citizens who lingered by the kitchen door to ensure they got all the fresh coffee, fruit, choice of pastries etc!

We stayed here for four nights in June as a base to tour the Cape Cod area. The Hotel was very clean with fair sized rooms and very welcoming and friendly staff. There is a breakfast buffet and although the seating area is quite small people tend to move through quickly so we didn't have too much trouble getting in and the buffet sets the day up well. Complementary coffee is also available whilst the reception area is open.

Overall we would have no hesitation in coming back and the location is great for picking up the Cape area on the basis of day trips.

Stayed here 3 nights. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the grounds beautifully cared for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts in the small breakfast room very good - food was continuously being replenished.
Pool area very nice and clean with plenty of chairs, loungers and umbrellas.
The location is great - a ten minute walk gets you to the sea front where there are lots of restaurants to chose from.
Highly recommend it.

Of all the places we stayed on our three week tour of USA/Canada, this was voted the best by our family. We had the room nearest the road (although that was not a problem) and to our surprise it actually consisted of two large rooms so we had absolutely loads of space to spread out. Furthermore the rooms were both very clean and nicely furnished. There was also quite a nice swimming pool.

Nicely located about 10/15 minutes walk from the waterside. Plymouth is a very pleasant and quite up market town.

Staff were very friendly and breakfast was good.

I stayed at the BW for 6 days with my husband and 17 month old daughter. I would absolutely stay here again. The staff was warm, knowledgeable and attentive. The grounds were immaculate and very well landscaped. The rooms were spotless and the housekeeping staff did a fabulous job each day. The breakfast (free!) was great -- waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt and all sorts of breads and pastries. And the coffee was tasty and hot. I requested a crib upon making our reservation (2 1/2 months in advance) and when we checked in, the crib was already set up in our room. We stayed in the suite, which had a queen bed and an adjacent room for the crib. Also a couch, 2 flat screens, fridge, microwave, 2 closets and a chair. Plenty of room. Very quiet other than the occasional motorcycle headed down Court Street. Slept great in the super comfy bed with lots of pillows.

The only downside was there was no sink by the microwave/fridge so we had to use the bathroom sink to rinse our daughters cups and silverware. Also the bathroom is a bit small with just a shower and no tub but it's still more than adequate. The pool (outdoor, heated) was too chilly for our daughter but we are from Texas -- there were plenty of people enjoying the water.

There is a nice little pizza place across the street and a liquor store, too, for those who want a cold beer on the patio. Very close to all the attractions but not too close as to have parking problems. Also there is a trolley tour $10/day that picks up right in front of the hotel.

We took a 4 day trip to Plymouth and surrounding area. This hotel was reasonably priced with outdoor pool, and close to town. Very pleasant staff, small but nice free breakfast in the morning, and best of all, very clean and comfortable accommodations. We requested to be close to pool, and we practically walked out of our room straight into the pool. It was nice to park our car right outside of the door too. The grounds are perfectly kept. I look forward to staying here again, and would highly recommend to anyone!!
