We stayed for 2 nights at the end of July and unfortunately we did not have good sleep both nights. Check-in was efficient and front desk was friendly and courteous. The exterior of the hotel and the reception were quite nice but looks like they have not spent money to renovate the room itself. The room was basic but clean. Wireless internet did not work both nights. The reason we had bad sleep was the people in the room above us were up around 4am both nights and they kept walking around their room for several hours. Since the building itself is old (and likely not much sound-proofing?), therefore we can hear their walking and talking quite clearly and my family (including my baby) were unable to sleep. Breakfast selection was decent but the dining area was quite small so we had to wait 10 minutes for a table on our 2nd morning. Plymouth is a nice area, we loved Plimoth Plantation and the Mayflower II but we probably will not stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: You shoudl ask for the rooms with 1-story and you likely will not be bothered by guests staying upstairs.

I'm sorry for you disappointing stay. It's unfortunate you never expressed any of your concerns to the staff during your stay, particularly since you were here for two nights. We appreciate the opportunity to correct any issues as they arise. Unfortunately we were never given the chance .

Great hotel ... comfortable, well kept, decent breakfast, attentive staff. Wi-fi not good enough but this is because the rooms are spread out making it difficult ... and also it is a dark wooden panel room so it can be a bit gloomy for some.

Everyone should find time to drive through small New England towns. Plymouth is a great stop: Mayflower, Pilgram's Plantation, Plymouth Rock, and the harbor. This hotel is within walking distance. Very cute exterior, extremely nice staff. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. I'd recommend for a one or two night stay.

My wife, son and I stayed for one night as part of a New England fly-drive. We were extremely pleased with this Motel - our room was large, clean and well furnished. We didnt have time to use the pool but it looked very nice. Breakfast surpassed our expectations. The best value stay of our entire trip - 7 hotels.

When we arrived, I was not thrilled that our suite faced the parking lot and was beside the main road, but we quickly got over the dismay. Because Plymouth has the feel of a small town, it was not a problem. The suite was spacious so we could spread out --- and stay up in the living room area after the grandkids went to bed. The breakfast options were healthy and included fresh fruits, juices and hot items. The kids really enjoyed the pool, which was not too deep and seemed like a private pool when we used it. There were wrought iron patio tables when we chose to dine outside (weather was perfect!). All of the landscaping was beautifully maintained. Location was a close drive to Plimoth Plantation, the Mayflower II, and Captain John's whale watching trip. We decided to cancel our 2 night Boston hotel reservations and drive back and forth to Boston (an easy drive, it turned out), thus extending our reservation at Cold Springs because we were so comfortable there.
