“Interesting to see if you are there”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

Interesting re-creation. A little overpriced but it goes toward the upkeep I think, so that's ok. Characters in historical dress "living" the parts of the people who would have traveled on the ship and sharing their stories with the "guests"..

“Must Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014

The docents on board are excellent. Some in character. They provided a great deal of information and insight as to what the passengers and crew on the Mayflower would have experienced. They answered our many questions with enthusiasm and patience. Nobody rushes you to move along. It was a cold, windy day when we visited so not many crowds. Not sure how it would be visiting in high season. Definitely recommend for all ages.
Two small gift shops and clean bathrooms on dock nearby.

“Board the ship”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2014 via mobile

You have to board this ship to get the real feel. Was extremely cold they day we visited in April... Can't image what Winter months on the water must have felt like!

“A Good Quick Tour”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014

Fascinating re-creation of the original Mayflower. Great for colonial history buffs, school trips or families visiting the Plymouth Waterfront. A living museum, where the staff remains true to character as 17th century seafarers.

“Worth the Trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

Definitely worth a visit. This is of course a replica of the original ship, but as you know was actually sailed from England in 1956 or 57. Great for adults and also families with kids who are 6 and older. Really young children don't really appreciate the historical part, but it is fun to be on the ship.
