Owner description: Replica of the ship the Pilgrims sailed to the New World.

What a realization to see the ship that carried 102 settlers to the new world. The actors answering questions about their journey were fascinating. I don't think I could have survived! Great attraction and well laid out with lots to learn for the kids.

I have been visiting the Mayflower II since I was a small child. It is like stepping back into time. Everyone onboard is an actor and knows his or her part well. Going below deck is so realistic that one can even imagine how it smelled on the voyage across the Atlantic.

the ship was moored at the dock, it was later afternoon on a cold November day, but i was able to speak to some mates aboard who were in character. I also got to see how my ancestors slept, ate & passed the time on their voyage to America.

I had the feeling the characters on the boat deeply cared about the ship and the person they were portraying. There was this sense that they were excited to share their stories and the enthusiasm was contagious. I could have spent another couple of hours there.

It was amazing to be able to be on board of a ship that was like the one people endured on when traveling was much different. To see how they traveled and to hear the stories was very impressive. To think there were 100 people in that small area for several months and that there were two births on board.I loved it and took a lot of pictures. The people that work on the ship are in costume and character and only talk like they are really in that time period. We were there in September and it was not crowded. There are steps to go down to bottom living area.
The town of Plymonth is very quaint we enjoyed walking all around and exploring the area. Many places to see and things to do.
