I was dissappointed in this house. It was mostly expensive art, jewelry, etc and then just one room which didn't have much in it to see. If you like shopping then it had some interesting things but if you are going to see a historical house not much to see. There was an upstairs to see also with things to buy.

We stopped in on our way to Jenneys Grist Mill. Historical home with items for sale inside. Cool walking through the old house and there is some really nice stuff inside.

This is only a tiny room- so don't be expecting an all day thing. When you first walk into the home it's Sparrow Pottery- in there you will see a little hallway which leads to Sparrow's house. It is just one room but all authentic! The boards are a little soft and squeaky, but it was built around 1690. There was an older lady who just happened to come out of the back and explained a lot of the history to us. Great to see something so authentic! Just so you know we were in and out in less than a half hour! The prices are $2/adult, $1 children, ages 6 and younger are free.

My husband and I were in awe of this 365 year old home that you can freely walk through. While there is no tour guide the craftsmanship is stunning. Also there is an art house that is connected that sells everything from one of a kind jewelry to windchimes to woodwork from local talent. The proceeds from these sales go to preserving the Sparrow House which, surprisingly, the city does not support.
