Good, convivial tavern with fair beer selection and reasonable pub grub. This might be a regular spot if I lived nearby. Parking is somewhat of an issue, and it's true that food service is a bit slow. We sat at the bar, and the barkeep was pleasant and mildly engaging. Beer selection was OK with ten or so taps. Ergo, the guinness was fresh and well-poured. Ordered spinach dip, petite sirloin and open face roast beef sandwich...all was well-done, if not exceptional. We would probably try it again if in the area.

We have gone to Patrick's Pub a number of times this summer. The food is good and so are the prices. The staff is very pleasant, but the service is always rather slow. Not a place to go if you are in a hurry!

i have eaten at Patrick's on a few occasions and have never understood what it has that draws in so many people. The parking situation is terrible, the service slow and the quality of food marginal at best. It is an attractive place, but the noise level inside makes having a conversation difficult. My most recent experience was a retirement party, held in the side room. We were served chicken wings with celery and blue cheese dressing for starters, which proved to be the highlight of the meal. We were served very fresh and tasty salads and some delicious bread. Our meal was served buffet style and included something we thought was lasagna but turned out to some form of eggplant parm. It was unattractive and tasted like cardboard. Broiled salmon with lemon was edible, but very strong tasting. Roasted turkey breast was served with some boxed or canned gravy..........yuck! There was also some ziti and sauce, which was basically sauce and pasta thrown together. The mashed potatoes were very good, as were the sauteed mixed vegetables. Next came dessert, brownies and cookies that appeared under cooked. I did not try them, deciding I'd consumed enough disappointing calories at this point. Patrick's is not a place to choose if you are looking for a quiet, well cooked meal, however it is a fun place for drinks and pub grub.

Whether you dine in or order to go you will not be disappointed. Great variety on the menu, with reasonable prices. Service is wonderful even when they are super busy.

Only downside is parking, it is worth walking a few blocks!

We recently met friends at Patrick's for dinner, and while conversation was often strained, the food and service were above average, as always. Our waitress was very patient with our long list of menu questions, but when my friend asked for a frosted glass for his beer I was surprised that she didn't bring one for mine also. That's the kind of thinking that makes me tip outrageously, but my money was safe this evening. Nevertheless, the steaks and fish and pasta were perfect, as were the desserts. We'll be back!
