I booked three cottages and the granary barn over the august bank holiday with a group of friends for a reunion from university. It suited our requirements as it could house both the families in the party (down at the cottages) and the couples and singles at the granary barn. Although it was a little less convenient to see each other than we hoped it was workable as we switched bases from the cottages (with swimming pool to entertain the kiddies) to the larger house for evening meals and games. Wifi was very helpful as the phone reception wasn't great for contacting each other.
The surrounding area was lovely, with not enough time in the weekend to explore as much as we'd have liked to. The houses were clean, light and nicely put together, the cream teas a nice touch. The granary barn was delightful with lovely rooms and garden which we would have utilised more with nicer weather. Plenty of room to park a few vehicles and good recycling facilities down at the cottages. Oh, and the farm shop down the road - lovely! We got meat and salad when we got there which was fab.
