Met a friend here for dinner (his suggestion) on a Monday night, it was not busy. Overall I thought it was pretty average (nothing good or bad stood out).
The server was a friend of his, don't know if we got special attention as a result but nothing out of the ordinary. Food was hit or miss. We ordered spinach & artichoke dip and fried pickles to start. The dip was marginal, lots of cheese on top, not much flavor. On the other hand, the pickles were excellent, just the right amount of breading and a great dipping sauce. My main was meatloaf. It was fine, but the last time I ordered meatloaf at a pub it was excellent so this paled in comparison.
I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again but I think there's little option in the immediate area so it could easily be one of the best local spots.
